1.during 用法与中文意思
during 的中文意思是指「在…期间」的意思，也就是during 是指一段期间喔，而不是指某个时间点。

例： They work during the night and sleep by day. 他们夜里工作，白天睡觉。

例：You’re not allowed to chat during the exam. 考试期间不准聊天。

从上面例子你会发现，during 是指某一段期间的意思，而且during 后面接的不一定是时间，可以接很多名词。

例如上方接的就是night 跟 exam。

2.during 跟 while 的用法差异

3.during 跟 in 用法差异
During 是指「在…期间」的意思，而当你用in 时，代表在「某段期间之内」，所以有时候during 跟 in 意思是可以相通的。

例： I woke up several times during the night. 夜里我醒了好几次。

上面这个例子改成用 in ，意思完全一样。

如下。

例：I woke up several times in the night. 夜里我醒了好几次。

常见的during 跟 in 可以通用的情况有以下。

例： During the night/ in the night During the day / in the day During the summer / in the summer （有些情况可以通用，要看句子） During the winter / in the winter During the year / In the year
从上面例子你可以发现，凡是后面接的是年、月、日、季节、白天、晚上….等等，是有一段时间期间的话，通常during 跟in 可以通用。
