梅山龙宫简介
An Introduction to Meishan Dragon Palace
梅山龙宫位于湖南省新化县资水河畔，是一个集溶洞、峡谷、峰林、绝壁、溪河、漏斗、暗河等多种喀斯特地质地貌景观于一体的大型溶洞群，有九层洞穴，探明长度2870余米，已开发游览路线1896米，其中包括长466米世界罕见的神秘地下河。

整个洞府分为龙宫迎宾、碧水莲宫、玉皇天宫、龙宫仙苑、龙宫风情、龙凤呈祥六大景区。

梅山龙宫风景区2005年被评为国家级风景名胜区，并评为湖南省新潇湘八景景区、首届湖南大众最爱旅游目的地。

Meishan Dragon Palace located besides the Zishui River, Xinhua County, Hunan Province is a large karst cave cluster integrating karst caves, canyons, peak forests, cliffs, streams, rivers, funnels, underground rivers, etc. It is a nine-layer cave with a proven length of more than 2,870m and a developed touring route of 1,896m and involves a 466m long mysterious underground river rare in the world. The palace is comprised of six major scenic areas, namely Dragon Palace Welcome, Green Water Lotus Palace, Jade Emperor’s Heaven Palace, Dragon Palace Fairy Garden, Dragon Palace Typical Scenery, and Dragon & Phoenix. Meishan Dragon Palace Scenic Area was named the National Park of China in 2005, and evaluated as one of Eight New Xiaoxiang Scenic Areas in Hunan Province and the First Session of Popular Tourist Destination of Hunan People.
洞内景观琳琅满目，绝世奇观不胜枚举；水路神秘莫测，可乘船荡舟，踏水寻仙，仰观龙宫九重天；旱路曲径通幽，可漫步静观，峰回路转，细品石笋、石钟乳。

更有峡谷云天、哪吒出世、玉皇天宫、天宫仙苑、远古河床，世界五大溶洞景观之绝，美不胜收，目不暇接。

国家旅游局顾问、中国社会科学院卢存岳教授称之为"亚洲最美的地质博物园"；中国地质科学院岩溶研究所原所长、全国洞穴研究会会长朱学稳教授亦将其评为"湖南第一、国内一流、世界先进，堪称世界溶洞极品"。

The cave has dazzling scenery and numerous beautiful wonders; the waterway is mysterious where tourists may boat, seek immortals and look up to the nine layers of Dragon Palace; the land route is winding where tourists may walk and observe calmly stalagmites and stalactites. 梅山龙宫，是一个集溶洞、峡谷、峰林、绝壁、溪河、漏斗、暗河等多种喀斯特地质地貌景观于一体的大型溶洞群，有九层洞穴，探明长度2870余米，已开发游览路线1896米，其中包括长466米世界罕见的神秘地下河。

Meishan Dragon Palace is a large karst cave cluster integrating karst caves, canyons, peak frosts, cliffs, streams, rivers, funnels, underground rivers, etc. It is a nine-layer cave with a proven length of more than 2,870m and a developed touring route of 1,896m and involves a 466m long mysterious underground river rare in the world.
整个洞府分为龙宫迎宾、碧水莲宫、玉皇天宫、龙宫仙苑、龙宫风情、龙凤呈祥六大景区。

◎Dragon Palace Welcome Scenic Area
龙门敞开迎贵宾，龙宫由此入佳境。

宫灯高挂流光溢彩，门帘收卷美不胜收。

鱼跃龙门、泰山胜景、龙女浣纱、玉树麒麟、龙宫琼楼、龙鹤相追、孔子游学、敦煌壁画等景点次第绽放。

Dragon Gate is opened to welcome guests and beautiful scenery is presented in the Dragon Palace. Hanging palace lanterns are lustrous and curtains are too beautiful to be appreciated at once. Numerous scenic spots are lined such as Leaping Fish, Taishan Scenery, Silk-Washing Dragon Girl, Jade Tree & Kylin, Dragon Palace Jade
Tower, Dragon Chasing Crane, Confucius' Study Tour and Dunhuang Murals.
◎碧水莲宫景区
◎Green Water Lotus Palace Scenic Area
碧水莲宫由地下河冲刷而成，水碧峡深，全长466米，是龙宫最底一层洞穴，因地壳抬升、河流下切形成独特洞穴峡谷奇观。

Green Water Lotus Palace is formed by flushing of underground river; this palace has green water and a deep canyon and is the base cave layer of Dragon Palace with a length of 466m; it is a unique cave and canyon wonder formed by crust uplift and stream trenching.
◎玉皇天宫景区
◎Jade Emperor’s Heaven Palace Scenic Area
玉皇天宫由巨型石笋、石柱组成的宽敞高大的石厅。

集水池、流石坝一体，高出地下河约28米，这里汇聚哪吒出世、玉皇天宫两大世界溶洞自然景观之绝。

Jade Emperor’s Heaven Palace is an open and tall stone hall comprised of giant stalagmites and peristeles, and integrating water pond and flowing dam; the palace about 28m above the underground river is comprised of two major karst cave landscapes, namely Birth of Nezha and Jade Emperor’s Heaven Palace.
◎龙宫仙苑景区
◎Dragon Palace Fairy Garden Scenic Area
龙宫仙苑位处第五层洞穴，是已开发的最高一层它是最年青的一个景区，洞穴钟乳石处在发育期，晶莹透亮的鹅管极其珍贵，是梅山龙宫真正的宝库。

Dragon Palace Fairy Garden located in the fifth cave layer, the highest layer developed, is the youngest scenic area; cave stalactites are in the development period; transparentgoose straws are extremelyrare; and it is the real treasury of Meishan Dragon Palace.

龙宫风情景区，有琳琅满目、形态万千的空中奇观，有精心布局、小巧玲珑仙宫花园胜境，美妙有趣，尽善尽美。

Dragon Palace Typical Scenery boasts dazzling and myriad wonders in the sky, small and exquisitegarden scenic spots, wonderful, interesting, and perfect.
◎龙凤呈祥景区
◎Dragon & Phoenix Scenic Area
龙凤呈祥景区，龙飞凤舞的双龙双凤，人面龙身的战神蚩尤，精美绝伦的华
表玉柱，黄杨木雕——松鹤延年图，阳光普照岩壁，成排映出三个巨大“喜”字,预示欢乐祥和、松鹤延年、三喜联门。

Dragon & Phoenix Scenic Area boasts two dragons and two phoenixes, God of War Chiyou with a human face and dragon body, absolutely beautifulornamental columns and jade columns, boxwood carving–Longevity Pines and Cranes Picture, Sunny Cliff; three giant “Xi(happiness)”words are reflected in rows indicating happiness, longevity pines and cranes, and triple happiness.。
