2. What do you think of Hemingway’s writing style?
• Simple and plain language & Intuitive description Hemingway has an excellent command of language. He often uses the basic words and short sentence patterns to express the most complex content and uses nouns and verbs to reveal the true colors of things without any affectation. Literature and art should express emotions, but emotions are reflected by the appearance of things.

• Implicit emotion Hemingway rarely commented and explained the event directly. He only used objective narration and emotional description of things to integrate his natural and peaceful explanation of the event, giving readers only a descriptive expression, as one-eighth of the sea surface of the iceberg, letting the readers feel and understand the other parts.
