I believe that language learning is not only useful to communicate with people from different parts of the world, but it also broadens one's perspective and can be an incredibly enriching experience. Learning a new language teaches you to be patient, dedicated and teaches you to be open to different ways of communicating and understanding.
My passion for language learning also led me to take on translation and interpretation projects. I have done volunteer work translating for non-profit organizations and interpreting for immigrants and refugees. It gave me a sense of fulfillment to use my language skills to help others.
When it comes to environmental sustainability, it has always been a significant concern of mine. I have become increasingly aware of the impact that we have on the environment and the importance of making conscious choices.
