Mid-Autumn Festival Activities。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China, which falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. To celebrate this festival, our school organized a series of activities.
Firstly, we had a special assembly in the morning, during which the school principal gave a speech about the significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival and wished all the students a happy holiday. Then, some students performed traditional Chinese instruments and sang folk songs, which added to the festive atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we had a mooncake-making competition. Mooncakes are a traditional food for the Mid-Autumn Festival, and making them is a way to share happiness and blessings with family and friends. The competition was divided into several groups, and each group had to make a
certain number of mooncakes within a limited time. The judges evaluated the mooncakes based on their appearance, taste, and creativity. It was a fun and challenging
activity, and everyone enjoyed it.
In the evening, we had a lantern-making contest. Lanterns are another symbol of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and making them is a way to express creativity and imagination. The contest was open to all students, and the lanterns were made of different materials, such as paper, bamboo, and plastic. The judges evaluated the lanterns based on their design, color, and lighting effect. The winners received prizes and applause from the audience.
Finally, we had a moon-watching party on the playground. The moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival night is believed to be the fullest and brightest in the year, and it is a time for family reunion and appreciation of nature's beauty. We sat on the grass, ate mooncakes, drank tea, and chatted with each other. Some students played games or took photos under the moonlight. It was a peaceful and joyful moment that
