The text is a transcript of a television show. There are six film festivals are mentioned in it. First, a representative called Maria introduced the Venice Film Festive. It is the oldest Film Festival and is part of a larger festival which celebrates contemporary art. Second it talks about Sundance Film Festival. It only includes small, independent films, many of which are made by amateur directors and star amateur actors and it boycotts all Hollywood films. Third it talks about Cannes Film Festival, which gives awards to mostly American films. Films shown at it are often made with large budgets and have well-known actors and directors. Fourth it gives us some information about Berlin Film Festival. It is one of the most international of all the film festivals and gives awards to films from all over the globe. Fifth Toronto Film festival is also talked about in the text. Toronto Film festivalis one of the main film festivals around the world and is the second largest festival in the world. Last it es to Shanghai Film Festival,which is the only international festival in China. It is the youngest film festival but has a good reputation worldwide. The highlight of it is the “Jinjue〞or Golden Cup Award.
