I remember a time when I had to give a presentation in front of my entire class. I was terrified of public speaking, but I knew I had to face my fear. I took a deep breath, walked up to the front of the class, and delivered my presentation with confidence. It was a small victory, but it gave me the courage to tackle other challenges in the future.
Confidence, on the other hand, is the belief in oneself and one's abilities. It is the assurance that you can
succeed and the willingness to take risks to achieve your goals. When I decided to try out for the school basketball team, I was filled with self-doubt. I was not the best player, and I was afraid of failing. However, I reminded myself of my love for the sport and my determination to improve. With that mindset, I gave it my all during the tryouts and was pleasantly surprised when I made the team. That experience taught me the importance of believing in myself, even when faced with uncertainty.
