My Favorite Season is Spring
Spring is the bestest season of the whole year! Everything looks so pretty and colorful after the boring brown of winter. I love seeing all the flowers bloom like yellow daffodils, purple crocuses, and pink cherry blossoms. Their bright colors make me feel so happy and cheerful. The green leaves start growing back on the trees too, which makes the outside world look so alive again. Yay for spring!
One of my favoritest things about spring is going on nature walks with my family. We look for new flowers popping up, listen for birds singing their springtime songs, and watch squirrels scampering around gathering food. Sometimes we even spot a bunny rabbit hopping through the grass! My little brother always gets excited and starts chasing after them, but they're too fast and hop away. We just laugh at his silliness.
Another great thing about spring is that it's not too hot or too cold outside. The weather is just right for playing at the park
or having a picnic. No more bundling up in a million layers like in winter! I can wear shorts, t-shirts, and sandals again. My friends and I have so much fun on the playground swinging, sliding, and running around. We make dandelion chains and crowns from the yellow flowery weeds. Sometimes we even blow the white puffy seeds and make wishes!
Spring also means it's time for Easter! I love decorating eggs by dipping them in colored dye. My eggs always turn out so pretty with swirls of purple, blue, pink, and yellow. On Easter morning, my brother and I wake up superduper early to hunt for the eggs and candy the Easter Bunny hid. We stuff our baskets full of chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and those weird marshmallow Peeps. Mmm, so sugary and yummy!
Of course, the very best part of spring is that it means summer vacation is right around the corner. No more teachers, no more books for a whole few months! I can stay up late, sleep in, and play all day without any schoolwork. My family usually goes on a fun trip during summer too, like to the beach or Disneyland. I can't wait to build sandcastles, splash in the waves, and go on all the rides. Summer is awesome, but spring is when I start dreaming and getting excited for it!
Spring is definitely the most fantastic, funest season for a kid like me. From pretty flowers to warm sunny days to yummy Easter treats, it's an entire few months of happiness. I wish spring could last forever and ever! But I guess that's why it's so special –it only comes once a year. Green trees, blue skies, and colorful rainbows make me grin from ear to ear. My Favorite Season Is Summer!
Summer is the bestest season of the whole year! I love summer so much. It's so fun and there's so many awesome things to do. Summer means no more school for a few months. Yay! No more homework or waking up super early. I get to sleep in and stay up late playing video games. Awesome!
The weather in summer is just perfect. It's nice and sunny and warm pretty much every day. I can finally wear shorts and t-shirts instead of big heavy jackets and sweaters. No more being all bundled up! I love going outside and feeling the warm sunshine on my face. It makes me feel so happy and full of energy.
Summer is the best time for swimming at the pool or the beach. The water feels so refreshing and nice when it's hot out. I love splashing around and going underwater. My friends and I have epic pool parties and swim races. We also bury each other in the sand at the beach and build awesome sand castles. Sand gets everywhere but it's still so fun!
There's also lots of awesome summer sports and activities. I play baseball and soccer during the summer. Running around outside and getting all sweaty is the best. We have backyard barbeques and eat yummy hamburgers and hot dogs. For dessert we have popsicles and ice cream that gets all melty. Mmm, so good!
Fourth of July is in the summer, which is the best holiday ever! We get to set off awesome fireworks that light up the whole sky. The fireworks are so bright and colorful and loud. They're so exciting! We also get to stay up super late and my parents let me have as many sparklers as I want. I wave them around and make shapes in the air with the bright sparks.
Of course, summer also means summer vacation! No school for like two whole months. My family goes on awesome road trips and we get to go camping. Sleeping in a tent is so cool, like you're roughing it in the wilderness. We go on long hikes, roast
marshmallows over the campfire, and try to spot wildlife like deer or bears. Sometimes we go to theme parks too and go on all the biggest, craziest rollercoasters!
Basically, summer is just the funnest, most exciting time of the year. I love having so much free time to do whatever I want. Between all the sports, swimming, vacations, and activities, summer is definitely my favorite season ever! I wish it could last forever instead of having to go back to school in the fall. Summer is simply the best!

My Favorite Season is Summer!
Summer is the bestest season of the whole year! I love summer more than anything. It is so fun and there are so many awesome things to do when it's summer.
First of all, summer means no school! That's right, no teachers, no homework, no waking up early. Just playing all day long. My mom lets me stay up late too since I don't have school in the mornings. We have so much free time to do whatever we want in the summer. It's the best!
Another thing I love about summer is going to the beach or the pool. Splashing around in the water is so refreshing on those hot summer days. I could spend hours in the pool pretending to be a mermaid or looking for seashells on the beach. The ocean is my favorite place. I love the way the sand feels between my toes and the salty air smells.
Summer is also great because that's when we go on our family vacations! Every year we go somewhere new and exciting. Last summer we went to Disney World and I had the time of my life. This year we're talking about going to Hawaii - can you imagine anything more fun than that? Building sandcastles, snorkeling, eating shave ice. A dream!
Then there are the summer treats that make this season so special. Ice cream cones, popsicles, lemonade, snow cones. So many delicious cold snacks to help you cool off. My birthday is in July so I always get an awesome ice cream cake too. Yum!
Of course, no summer is complete without swimming, camping, running through sprinklers, and catching fireflies at night. We have big barbecues and roast smores over the fire pit. The nights are warm and you can hear the crickets and see the stars so clearly. It's magical.
That's why summer will forever be my most favorite time of year. The freedom, the fun, the outdoors, the treats. What's not to love about summer? From the second I step off the school bus on the last day of school to the morning I sadly have to go back, I soak up every minute. Summer is just the absolute best!

My Favorite Season is Spring!
Spring is the bestest season of the whole year! I love spring more than anything. It's way better than winter when everything is cold and boring. Winter is no fun at all because you can't go outside and play. You just have to stay inside all day and be bored. But then spring comes along and everything gets so much funner!
The first thing I love about spring is all the pretty flowers that start to bloom. My favorite flowers are red roses and yellow daffodils. They look so bright and cheerful after the dull brown of winter. I like to go outside and smell all the different flowers. Their smells are just delightful! Sometimes I even pick bouquets for my mom. She always smiles really big when I bring her flowers I picked myself.
Another great thing about spring is that it's not too hot or too cold out. The temperature is just right for playing outside all day long. In winter it's way too freezing to stay out for very long. And in summer it gets so baking hot that I get all sweaty and have to go inside. But spring is perfect! I can run around for hours without getting miserably cold or miserably hot.
My favorite springtime activity is going on nature hikes with my family. We scout for cool bugs like ladybugs and butterflies flitting around. We look for fuzzy caterpillars inching along branches. Sometimes we even spot rabbits or squirrels if we're quiet and move slowly. Being out in nature when it's just becoming green again is the most splendid feeling ever! Everything seems so new and alive in spring.
The best part about spring, though, is definitely the baby animals. Oh my goodness, they are just too precious for words! The teeny tinylambs and calves wobbling around on spindly legs completely melt my heart. They're so innocent and curious about the world. I want to scoop them all up and cuddle them, they're so unbelievably adorable! Watching mamas nuzzle their sweet little babies makes me happy down to my toes. New life is everywhere you look in springtime.
In the springtime, it feels like the whole world is waking up from a long snooze. The trees begin budding new leaves, green shoots poke up through the soil, birds start chirping and building nests. It's like the Earth is stretching and yawning, ready to have another colorful and exciting year of warm sunny days. Spring is joyful, spring is energizing, spring is utterly magnificent. That's why it's by far the best season in my young but very smart opinion. I wish spring could just last forever and ever! Hooray for spring!

My Favorite Season is Summer!
Summer is the best season of the whole year! I love summer so much. The weather is warm and sunny. School is out and I can play outside all day. I don't have to wear a big heavy coat. Yay for summer!
In summer, my family goes to the beach a lot. I love digging in the sand and making sandcastles. I also love swimming in the ocean and riding the waves. The water feels so nice and cool on a hot summer day. Sometimes we have picnics at the beach too and eat hot dogs, hamburgers, and watermelon. Watermelon is my favorite summer treat! It's so juicy and sweet.
At home, we run through the sprinklers in the backyard to get wet and cool off. I'll chase my little brother around and we'll have so much fun getting drenched. After we dry off, we make lemonade and have lemonade stands to make a little money. It's hard work squeezing all those lemons, but lemonade tastes so refreshing.
On the 4th of July, we watch fireworks light up the night sky. The bright colors bursting in the air look so amazing! Red, blue, green, purple - so many colors all popping and sparkling. I sit on a blanket with my family eating popcorn and oohing and ahhing at the pretty firework show.
Another fun thing about summer is that we can go camping! We pack up the car with our tent, sleeping bags, camp stove, and smores supplies. I love roasting marshmallows over the campfire. They get all gooey inside and crispy brown outside. Making smores with chocolate and graham crackers is the best! We also go for long hikes in the woods and tell scary stories around the campfire at night.
When it's not too hot out, we'll have a game of backyard baseball going. I'll pitch to my dad and we'll take turns batting and fielding. Sometimes the neighbors join and we'll pick teams.
I love running around the bases after I get a good hit. I'm a really fast runner!
Those are just some of the reasons why summer is my absolute favorite season of the year. Fall is pretty with the changing leaves, but then it gets too cold. Winter is no fun with the snow and ice unless we can go sledding. Spring has nice flower blooms, but there's still that chilly air. Give me summer any day - fun in the sun from June to September! School's out, pool's open, fun times with family. What more could a kid want? I'll take summer over the other seasons any day. Summertime is the ultimate!

The only bad part about summer is that it goes by way too fast. I wish the sunny days and no school could last forever. But I know autumn is coming soon which means back to school, homework, and jackets. No more swimming or catching fireflies. That makes me really sad to think about. I'm going to enjoy every last second of this summer while I can. It's the funnest, coolest season of the year!。
