Good morning everyone.

Before starting my speech, I’d like to introduce myself to you.

I am thirteen-years-old. This is my second year in middle school. I live very close to my school and I walk to school every day. I like taking part in different activities and making friends.

I get along with my friends and enjoy chatting with them. My favorite food is Japanese food, I especially like sushi.

As for my hobby, I love reading. Whenever I have time I will read. I have read so many books that I cannot even count how many I have read. I read for hours, sometimes I even forgot to eat dinner! That’s why I am called “bookworm” by my parents and friends. To tell you the truth, I really like this nickname. I think it describes me very well.

Now I am going to start my speech. The title of my speech is Pressures on middle school students.
