学情分析：
（一）学习者分析：
四年级学生活泼好动，善于模仿，乐于参与活动，喜欢积极表现自我。
思维以形象思维为主，主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。
他们的记忆强度不大，注意力保持时间短，有一定的观察能力，他们需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师，需要在趣中求学。
经过一学年的学习，对英语已有初步认知，少数学生有一些英语基础，因此教师要设计学生喜欢的活动,让每一个学生参与进来，更要充分利用好有基础的学生资源，让他们起到配合，榜样的作用。
（二）学习内容分析：
本节课是第三单元的第一课，主要学习学校里面的场所：school, classroom, library, playground. 以及如何在学校里问路。
几个词汇都有些长，但却是他们经常活动的地方。
问路的回答是两句话：I can show you. Here it is!并没有具体的指示，学生学起来应该没有困难。

如果你认为世界上最大的图书馆在欧洲，那你就错了。
实际上，世界上最大的图书馆在美国哥伦比亚特区华盛顿，称为国会国书馆。
这座图书馆是约翰·亚当斯总统在1800年为国会议员们建立的。
他想让议员们阅读到有关法律方面的书籍。
首批740本藏书是从英国购进的，这些书被随便放在国会开会的地方。
