学情分析:
(一)学习者分析:
四年级学生活泼好动,善于模仿,乐于参与活动,喜欢积极表现自我。

思维以形象思维为主,主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。

他们的记忆强度不大,注意力保持时间短,有一定的观察能力,他们需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师,需要在趣中求学。

经过一学年的学习,对英语已有初步认知,少数学生有一些英语基础,因此教师要设计学生喜欢的活动,让每一个学生参与进来,更要充分利用好有基础的学生资源,让他们起到配合,榜样的作用。

(二)学习内容分析:
本节课是第三单元的第一课,主要学习学校里面的场所:school, classroom, library, playground. 以及如何在学校里问路。

几个词汇都有些长,但却是他们经常活动的地方。

问路的回答是两句话:I can show you. Here it is!并没有具体的指示,学生学起来应该没有困难。

如果你认为世界上最大的图书馆在欧洲,那你就错了。

实际上,世界上最大的图书馆在美国哥伦比亚特区华盛顿,称为国会国书馆。

这座图书馆是约翰·亚当斯总统在1800年为国会议员们建立的。

他想让议员们阅读到有关法律方面的书籍。

首批740本藏书是从英国购进的,这些书被随便放在国会开会的地方。

后来汤姆·杰斐逊把自己许多藏书卖给了国会,他认为国会应有各类书籍,不应该仅收藏一点法学书籍,这种观点给国会藏书带来永久性的变化。

国会图书馆越变越大,现在它已占地数英亩。
