摘要：PURPOSE:To achieve a slot array antenna of high efficiency with a simple constrcution, by providing a plurality of slots along the propagation direction of an H guide with one conductor plate of the H guide consisting of two parallel conductor plates and a dielectric substance body. CONSTITUTION:Parallel conductor plates 6, 8 are fixed by clipping a dielectric substance 5 of rectangular cross section and of fine rod. A plurality of slots 7 are opened along the propagation direction of an H guide with the condutor plate 6. Electromagnetic waves propagated in the H guide are radiated from the slots 7 to the outside of the H guide, to constitute the slot array antenna. Taking the radiation direction of electromagnetic waves from this antenna as theta, wavelength in the H guide and in free space as lambdag and lambdaO, and the distance (d) of the slots 7 is selected so that the distance can satisfy equation (1). Thus, the phase of electromagnetic waves radiated from all the slots is in phase only to the direction theta and random to other directions, in which the amplitudes are cancelled, resulting that the electromagnetic waves can be radiated only to the theta directon as a whole of antenna.
