Individual greed and selfishness has been the basis of the modern society. Some people think that we must return to the older and more traditional values of respect for the family and the local community in order to create a better world to live in. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some people think it is necessary to use animals for testing medicines intended for human use. Others, however, think it is cruel to do that. Discuss both of these views and give you own opinion.
Next, I believe that public art can raise people’s spirits and shows them beauty in daily life. For example, in Shanghai where I live, there are many examples of street art such as statues and sculptures. When I see these, they take me out of my daily worries and cares, and remind me of the beauty that is all around me.

So my contention is that spending on art will not reduce spending on important projects as the money comes from different sources.
First of all, China has a long tradition of valuing cultural and artistic works and of integrating these into daily life. When these art works appear in public places, this reflects and continues this historic tradition.
