Singing in the rain

It is a musical comedy film telling a story of a popular silent film star, Don, with humble roots as a singer, dancer and stunt man who barely tolerates his vapid, shallow leading lady, Lina, who has convinced herself that the fake romance their studio concocted and publicized is real. As the first talking picture proves to be a smash hit, the film company decides to produce talking films. However, because of Lina ’ s comically grating voice,the company makes a decision to overdub Lina’s voice with Kathy’s, a girl who has beautiful voice. Although Lina does everything possible to sabotage the romance between Don and Kathy, they fall in love with each other and their love has a happy ending.

The phantom of the opera

It is a musical film telling the story of a disfigured musical genius who hunts the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera, waging a rein terror over its occupants, who is called the ‘Phantom’. However, he is attracted by Christine, a b eautiful but unknown young actress with a nice voice. He teaches her singing skills and makes Christine distinguished at any price including killing people and gradually he grows attached to her. In spite of the affection from the Phantom, Christine falls in love with her childhood lover, Raoul, which gets on the Phantom’s nerves. In the end, when Christine decides to sacrifice herself for Raul, the Phantom decides to let them go.

Rebecca

It is a psychological drama-thriller film telling a story of a shy ladies’ companion, staying with her stuffy employer, who meets the wealthy Maxim de Winter, who is still troubled by the death of his first wife because he thinks he is guilty of her death and can not escape the feeling of evil. They fall in love with each other, get married and return to Manderley, where Mrs. De Winter discovers that Rebecca still has a strange hold on everyone, especially the house keeper, Ms. Danvers. What is more, Mrs. de Winter is frustrated to find that everything in that house suggests her husband still loves Rebecca. So when her husband tells her the truth is that he killed Rebecca, that immoral, heatless and evil-minded woman, Mrs. de Winter is in a total shock. However, it proves in the end that Rebecca has infected heavy cancer before her death and getting relieved, the couple leave the Manderley, which is burned by Ms. Danvers.

Ratatouille
