教学过程Teaching procedures:
Step1 lead-in
1.let students enjoy a piece of music about“how is the weather?”
2.Help students to review some expressions and words about the weather.
Step2 Presentation
1.Ask students to have a report in Chinese about “what do you know about Canberra,Australia”.
2.lead students to look up some information and have a report about “what are the differences
between the four seasons in China and those in Australia? ”for example:When does spring start and end in China and Australia?
3.lead students to learn some new words in this period.
Step3 listening
1.First,lead students to have a look at the instruction and pictures to know what to do in this
activity and how to do it.
2.Ask students to pay attention to the key words when they listen to the tapescript.
3.Play the recording the first time,Ask students to listen to Kelly talking about the weather in
Canberra,Australia.and put the photos in the correct order,write the numbers1-4 in the boxes.
4.Check the answers in listening A.
5.Lead students to read the instructions in listening B. Ask students to complete the table in the
blanks.first ,lead students to read the information in the table and know what to do and how to do .
6.play the recording again,Ask students to finish the task individually.
7.Check the answers in listening B.
8.Play the recording the third time,ask students to answer these questions:
