1、主语（物）+sell（wash, write, read, clean, cook, burn, print etc）+副词
The cloth washes well.这布很耐洗。

Wood burns easily.木头很容易燃烧。

The pen writes smoothly.这笔下水流畅。

The sign reads as follows:这牌子告示如下：
This dress wears very well.这衣服很耐穿。

His trade pays well.他的生意很有利。

2、be worth doing “……值得被做”
The place is worth visiting = The place is worthy to be visited=The place is worthy of being visited.这地方值得一看。

3、want/need/require doing = want/need/require to be done “需要被……”
Your shirt needs pressing. = Your shirt needs to be pressed.你的衬衣需要熨一熨。

4、to let出租；to blame该受责备。

The house is to let.此屋出租。

Who is to blame?谁该受责备？
5、easy, hard, difficult, heavy, fit, hot等一些形容词后的不定式
The problem is difficult to work out.
My schoolbag seemed heavy to carry.
6、不定式的逻辑主语是句子的主语或宾语
I have a lot of work to do.
Give me a book to read.
7、连系动词look, taste, smell, sound, feel, prove
Good medicine tastes bitter to the mouth.
His theory proved correct.
