Step1:系动词可以分为以下几种类型：
1, 状态系动词：be(am ,is ,are, was, were, been)
Eg, The new medicine is effective.
2, 似乎类（表象类））系动词：seem, appear
Eg, It seems common for people to think of penicillin when they have a fever.
They appear in favor of the new drug.
3, 保持类系动词：keep, stay, remain, continue, lie, stand
Eg, You should’t keep quiet in a debate.
It’s already ten o’clock , the store remains closed.
The symptom will stay for two days.
4, 感官类系动词：sound, taste, feel, look, smell
Eg, His explanation sounds very reasonable.
He noted that a dish in which he was trying to grow bacteria for an experiment looked abnormal -----it had blue mould in it.
5, 变化类系动词：turn, go, fall, grow, get, become, make, run, come, fall, go+adj.
指由好变坏eg, go bad, 变质，变坏，go hungry, 饥饿go white, 变白go mad, 变疯go wrong, 出错，出毛病
Eg,Within a short time, aspirin became the best –selling medicine in the world for pain relief.
He grew annoyed when the girl asked him a silly question.
He fell asleep the moment he got into bed.
She would have made an excellent chemist.
另外，变化类系动词的进行时表示“渐渐”的意思或一种感情色彩。

Eg,It’s getting dark.
The future is looking good.前途看似一片光明。

6,终止性系动词：prove证实，证明，变成
The outcome proved wrong.
