The Mai family is a large family with many members, and 8-year-old Kevin (played by Macaulay Calkin) is the smallest member of this family. His mischievous personality often brings various troubles to the family and is unanimously rejected by the family. On a night approaching Christmas, Kevin and his brother had a dispute and made a mess of the house. Kevin was punished by his mother, and he was very aggrieved. He made a wish to make his family disappear. 但是毕竟力量悬殊，凯文被两个盗贼抓住，幸好老头马利及时出现，救了凯文。

而此时警察也赶到，逮捕了两个不太高明的盗贼，凯文成功地保护了家园。

On the second day of Christmas, Kevin's family rushed back and was very happy to be together. Kevin also grew up a lot in the process of living independently.
