Teaching goals:
知识与技能：
1、词汇：station/ train/up/ hill/ down/ near
2、运用方位介词up, down, near, at。

过程与方法：根据提供的信息，完成新词的学习和交流。

情感态度与价值观：通过学习本课的知识，培养学生礼貌、热心、乐于助人的好习惯。

Importances and difficuilties：
1、认读单词station / house/ hill/ train 和理解方位介词up/ down /near / at,并明白他们表示的方位；运用方位介词up/ down /near / at描述位置。

Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warm up
Play a piece of video “ Thomas &Friends”
T：Do you like Thomas? Today, let’s follow Thomas to visit Dodo Island. Step 2 Presentation
1、Words teaching.
T：What can you see in the picture?
Ss：火车，小山，房屋，车站。

教授新词train, hill, house/houses, station.
Chant: Train, train, it’s a train.
Hill, hill, this is a hill.
House, house, they’re houses.
Station, station, at the station.
通过老师领读，学生个别读，集体读等方式反复操练，检查学生对单词的熟练程度。

2、Text learning
T：Up, up, up the hill, it’s up the hill.
T: Where’s the Train 1? It’s up the hill.（Down, down, down the hill, it’s down the hill.
T: Where’s the Train 2? It’s down the hill.
Near, near, near the houses, it’s near the houses.
T: Where’s the Train 3? It’s near the houses.
At, at, at the station, it’s at the station.
3．Play the tape, Ss read after it.
Step 3 Practice
T: 你们真是太棒了！接下来我们就做一些练习，看看谁掌握得又快又好。

练习1：请把听到的句子和图片搭配起来，你听到的句子是图几？
1、The car is down the hill.(picture3)

练习2：编号。

由一个学生来说本节课学习的短语或者句子，另一个学生表演出相应的动作。

e.g: S1: The train is down the hill.
S2: 作出火车上山的动作。
