本课时主要是对所学内容进行综合复习。

首先，教师带着学生对单元核心板块Story time的内容、句型和词汇进行了复习，做好热身的同时也为下面的学习做好铺垫。

接下来教师对补充习题中的听力练习进行充分利用，即在学生完成听录音打钩后，进一步提供要求学生根据所听短文补全句子。

随后，教师安排了一个关于请柬的阅读题，然后顺势让学生小组讨论如何设计一个派对，既可以锻炼学生的小组合作能力又可以到达学以致用的效果。
