就」的意思,soon 是指「不久、很快」的意思,而当soon跟as 组合成 as soon as 的结构,就变成了「一…
下面列举出as soon as 的英文用法跟中文意思,赶快学起来吧!1. as soon as 一…就as soon as 的中文意思是指「一…就」。
例: He left as soon as he saw her.
As soon as I saw her, I knew there was something wrong.
2.为什么 as soon as ~是「刚……
• It began to rain soon.「
」• He went out soon.「
」这2句要以as…as 联系,造出as…as ∼的句型。
It began to rain as soon as he went out soon.
It began to rain as soon as he went out.
」换句话说,as soon as…
As soon as he went out, it began to rain.
3. as soon as possible 尽快as soon as possible 则是另一个很常见的英文用法,意思是「尽快地、越快越好」。

一、形式肯定意义否定句子需要正说反译1、一些准否定词如lack、fail、deny、miss、neglect、avoid、decline、refuse、absence、failure、exclusion、deficiency、without、beyond、beside、against、above、beneath、short of、free from、absent、blind、foreign to、last等都需要否定译法。
NatureEmerson’s first published work was Nature (1836), which contains the gist of his transcendental attitude towards the phenomenal world, as a kind of beautiful symbol of the inner spiritual life, floating dreamlike before the eye, yet, it is to be noted, having discipline as one of its lessons for the attentive soul. As soon as it was published, it met with a mild reception. This work has the clearest statement of Transcendentalist ideas. In it Emerson stated that man should not see nature merely as something to be used; that man’s relationship with nature transcends the idea of usefulness. Nature is a kind of discipline to man. Once you are in nature, totally in solitude, you feel you’re nothing, but you see all. Nature makes people feel transparent and humble. Meanwhile, He saw an important difference between understanding (judging things only according to the senses) and reason.Transcendentalism, essentially, is a form of idealism. The transcendentalist “transcends” or rises above the loweranimalistic impulses of life (animal drives) and moves from the rational to a spiritual realm. The human soul is part of the Oversoul or universal spirit to which itand othersouls return at death. Therefore, every individual is to be respected because everyone has aportion of that Oversoul (God). This Oversoul or Life Force or God can be found everywhere --travelto holy places is, therefore, not necessary. Nature by Ralph EmersonNature by Ralph EmersonTo speak truly, few adult persons can see nature. Most persons do not see the sun. At least they have a very superficial seeing. The sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and the heart of the child. The lover of nature is he whose inward andoutward senses are still truly adjusted to each other; who has retained the spirit of infancy even into the era of manhood. His intercourse with heaven and earth, becomes part of his daily food. In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows. Nature says, he is my creature, and maugre all his impertinent griefs, he shall be glad with me. Not the sun or the summer alone, but every hour and season yields its tribute of delight; for every hour and change corresponds to and authorizes a different state of the mind, from breathless noon to grimmest midnight. Natureis a setting that fits equally well a comic or a mourning piece. In good health, the air is a cordial of incredible virtue. Crossing a bare common, in snow puddles, at twilight, under a clouded sky, without having in my thoughts any occurrence of special good fortune, I have enjoyed a perfect exhilaration. I am glad to the brink of fear. In the woods too, a man casts off his years, as the snake his slough, and at what period soever of life, is always a child. In the woods,is perpetual youth. Within these plantations of God, a decorum and sanctity reign, a perennial festival is dressed, and the guest sees not how he should tire of them in a thousand years. In the woods, we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall mein life, -- no disgrace, no calamity, (leaving me my eyes,) which nature cannot repair. Standing on the bare ground, my head bathed by the blithe air, and uplifted into infinite space, all mean egotism vanishes. I become a transparent eye-ball; I am nothing; I see all; the currents of the Universal Being circulate through me; I am partor particle of God. In the tranquil landscape, and especially in the distant line of the horizon, man beholds somewhat as beautiful as his own nature.Walking by Hey D. ThoreauIn wildness is the preservation of the world. From the forest and wilderness come the tonics and barks which brace mankind. Life consists with wildness. The most alive is the wildest.A town is saved, not more by the righteous men in it than by the woods and swamps that surround it. A township where one primitive forest waves above while another primitive forest rots below,—such a town is fitted to raise not only corn and potatoes, but poets and philosophers for the coming ages.In short, all good things are wild and free.I love even to see the domestic animals reassert their native rights,—any evidence that they have not wholly lost their original wild habits a nd vigor; as when my neighbor’s cow breaks out of her pasture early in the spring and boldly swims the river, a cold, grey tide, twenty-five or thirty rods wide, swollen by the melted snow. It is the buffalo crossing the Mississippi. This exploit confers some dignity on the herd in my eyes—already dignified. The seeds ofinstinct are preserved under the thick hides of cattle and horses, like seeds in the bowels of the earth, an indefinite period.Any sportiveness in cattle is unexpected. I saw one day a herd of a dozenbullocks and cows running about and frisking in unwieldy sport, like huge rats, even like kittens. They shook their heads, raised their tails, and rushed up and down a hill, and I perceived by their horns, as well as by their activity, their relation to the deer tribe. But, alas! a sudden loud Whoa! would have damped their ardor at once, reducedthem from venison to beef, and stiffened their sides and sinews like the locomotive. Who but the Evil One has cried, “Whoa!” to mankind? Indeed, the life of cattle, like that of many men, is but a sort of locomotiveness; they move a side at a time, and man, by his machinery, is meeting the horse and the ox half-way. Whatever part the whip has touched is thenceforth palsied. Who would ever think of a side of any of the supple cat tribe, as we speak of a side of beef? You Are What You DoIf the past has taught us anything, it is that every cause brings effect—every action has a consequence. This thought, in my opinion,is the moral foundation of the universe; it applies equally in this world and the next.。
