Invitation Letter for Mother and Father

Dear officer(s):

I would like to invite my parents (Shanlin Zhao and Xiuqin Li) to visit me and my wife Xuefei Guo in Cincinnati, OH for about five months starting from June to November. In the meantime, they will attend my doctor hooding ceremony.

The purposes of this visit are traveling and family reunion in United States. During last visit, they explored the midwest of USA, including Cincinnati, Chicago, Indianapolis and parks in Kentucky. Now, my career has reached a point when I am more confident about my future and I have vocation to spend with family. During summer break, we plan to travel with them along the west coast. San Francisco and Los Angeles will be our primary destination. In addition, they will join guided tour for the most famous metropolises on eastern coast and, including Boston (MA), New York City, Washington DC in early autumn. They will return to China in November 2014 to go back and meet my sister. We believe this trip would be one of the most memorable and enjoyable events in our family.

My parents will not stay longer than the authorized period. After this visit, my parents will go home. I have a younger sister, she has married and has a son. My parents needs to come back to take care her son since she works in our local industry. My parents never went to university and couldn’t speak English. They have been living in my hometown with their relatives and friends for over fifty years and enjoy living in that social environment. They have a very comfortable life in my hometown. They prefer their routine life within the community they are familiar with. All of us agrees that a 5 month trip would be best for them.

We will be responsible for all of the expenses incurred in their travel including air tickets and shopping. As the inviters, we will pay local transportation, medical insurances and all other related expenses. We are sure that we can afford all possible expenses during their visit. We have attached bank statement and income for your reference.
