But this semester, they may start to master language skills in reading and writing. This is the second period of 3B module2 unit2 toys. The students have already grasped the words about toys in the first period of this lesson and also have the ability to use the modeled sentences to indicate their likes or dislikes in oral English, eg: I like …/I don’t like… Do you like…? Yes, I like…/No, I don’t like…What do you like? I like…Based on the analysis of the teaching material and the language skills the students have mastered, I have chosen the following as the learning objectives:1. Firstly, listen to the tape and do a survey by practicing the pattern sentence to indicate their likes. Secondly, make a dialogue with the desk mates to deepen mutual understanding and get more specific information about the favorite toy. Next, read a short passage to judge the sentences so that the students will have a brief impression of how to write the favorite toy logically. At last, write a short passage about their favorite toys and share with friends.Another difficulty is to understand the meaning of ‘favorite’. So in the teaching process I design a clue: students share what they like: What do you like? I like dolls.→Which doll do you like best? I like this doll. →I like this doll best, that is my favorite toy.As to the assignment, different students may have different ways to finish it. If he is good at English, he may complete the sentences by himself.If not, I believe he may do a good job with the help of reading passage.。

本单元对一二年级学习的内容作了回顾和整理,又在此基础上有新的积累。

在本模块的第一单元已学过Do you like…? Yes, I like…/ No, I don’t like…的句型,为本课的对话学习减轻了负担。

本节课的话题又是学生感兴趣的,能更好地积极参与到听、说、读、写的语言实践活动中。

Use yes/no questions to find out specific information.Difficulties: To distinguish single form and plural form.CommentaryThe topic for this lesson is ‘Toys’. This lesson focused on the words of toys, and be able to use sentence 'Do you like these ...? Yes, I like these ... / No, I don't like these ...' The teaching difficulty is to distinguish between ' this' and 'these', and combined patterns to do conversations around the theme.Students through two years of study command some vocabulary, patterns and communicate, listening ability. Students will review the knowledge they have learned and have a new accumulation through learning this course. The first unit of this module has been learned the patterns ‘Do you like ...? Yes, I like ... / No, I don't like ... ‘. This will help the students to learn more easily. The topic is interest to students, so they will be involved in listening, speaking, reading and writing of language practice activities actively.Games and daily talk about toys are used to lead in the topic in pre-task preparation. Distinguish and use them correctly is the difficulty in this lesson. So it should spend several minutes to be practiced in order to say and use the new patterns correctly. In next part, some of the able students try to answer and ask with teacher first. So the others can follow. Then ask and answer with given pictures and words. At last ask classmate without any prompts.There are four parts in post-task activities. The first one is doing a survey. Students use what they have learned to communicate with others and get the information they need. The second part is reading comprehension. During this part, students practice their reading skills and get familiar to the writing form. The third part is writing. Students write down the sentences about their favourite toys and then read to their friends. This task helps the students to combine all the informations and practice their writing skill. It’s the comprehensive use of knowledge showed with writing form. At last is the assignment, it’s the extension of the class.This is my design of this lesson. I hope all the students could learn more and have fun in the lesson. Through learning they could make progress in listening, speaking, reading and writing.。

在本模块的第一单元已学过Do you like…? Yes, I like…/ No, I don’t like…的句型进行喜好问答,为本课的对话学习减轻了障碍。

而且本节课的教学主题“我喜欢的玩具”贴近学生生活,便于教师为学生创设真实的生活情景,从而达到真正运用语言的目的。

为此,在整节课的设计中我注意适时地利用多媒体课件激发学生的学习兴趣,突破教学重、难点,让学生主动、积极地学习。

【学情分析】:三年级的学生已掌握了一定的词汇和基本句型,他们学习兴趣浓厚,但是他们爱动、好玩,上课注意力不集中。

老师需通过变换的课件及各种新颖的教学手段,吸引他们的注意力,激发他们的学习兴趣,使之顺利完成本课的教学任务。

通过半年多的接触,学生能基本理解英语课堂的一些常规,能听懂一些课堂用语,能听说一些简短的命令,并做出相对应的反应,掌握了一些英语技能。

学生之间虽然存有着一定的学习差别,但是学生对英语学习普遍保有兴趣,上课较为专心,有着较为强烈的表现欲望,也愿意与他人分享学习的成果和快乐。

Most kids will have great interest and attention on this topic. The students learned some words related to toys such as ball, doll, bicycle, kite, rope in the same module of Oxford 1B and 2B. The sentence pattern, I like …also appeared in it as well. Therefore, it is less difficult for kids to understand and express the words and sentences correctly. The teacher initiates the situation of a visit to Toy Factory by introducing a friend Tommy, to make students feel surrounded with toys and happiness.Grade Three students in our school are lively and active with extensive interests. By now, they have a command of general questions and WH-questions by first person to express their likes. Besides, they are able to read and spell all words relevant to toys in both Oxford 3B and Joy of Learning 5. As the kids are so crazy about toys, they have a lot of fancy ideas and are always excited when talking about toys to present their strong personal emotions and willings.In our school, Grade Three students have learned the four words--train, doll, skateboard and robot. In Joy of learning 5, there are also some other related words like blocks, mask. Considering popular toys are to be compared in the lesson, the teacher will supply another two words--model and plasticine. With nearly three-year-old English learning, our kids are well-founded in vocabulary and oral speaking. The new pattern, “What do you like? I like…” is not complex for students to study. So I would like to set up a platform in the last task to let them design toys in person, during which kids are discouraged to freely imagine and communicate with each other.The class is always around the topic--Toy. Firstly, children can have some sense of vision and hearing with toy by singing. Then teacher will create the atmosphere to welcome the coming Children’s Day--My friend Tommy, the boss of a toy factory is willing to invite all kids to visit his factory. Students who pass through the ordeal raised by Tommy can finally get mysterious presents. Such design is to stimulate students’ curiosity on one hand and prepare for next step on the other hand. Any student who wants to gain the gift must pass through “Toys Test” by Tommy, they must tell the names of toys loudly as soon as they see these pictures of toys passing through the screen. In this way, the memory of words about toys will awaken. DuringQ&A practice of new words, students will be further lead to thinking and get to know which toy he prefers and why. They try to use the pattern to find out friends’favorite toys in the real situation. With the comparison between skateboards and dolls, students will know more about toys and get a conclusion that of all toys, some are special for boys and some are for girls.The main purpose of the lesson is not only for well understanding and good use of new pattern. Also, with the guidance of teacher, students are provided with the space of thinking and opportunity to speak, which help them to develop good habit of pondering on questions. After sharing my favorite toy with kids, I will raise questions to encourage them more. And the students will bring their favorite toys as well. In the atmosphere created, both sentence patterns “I like… (General toys)”and “My favorite toy… (Special toy)” will let children gradually know the toy means special to him. That’s also the reason why it’s their favorite toy. Maybe it’s good looking, interesting or comes from overseas. It is also probably that they get the toys from someone special. Hence, if you want to give somebody a proper gift, do remind that the most expensive does not means the best.I think the last task is an interesting challenge for the students. They’re told to design a toy according to customer request. They can show the pictures by drawing and writing down the key words. They can express what they like or dislike directly through the pictures. After sharing the different ideas, they can give the ball to each other to show weather he wants to buy or not. And the student with the most balls in the group will have one big present from Tommy. Students are given free rein to their imagination of designing in groups. All the students do the work of listening, speaking, reading and writing through this task. And the most of all, theynot only share the crazy or special ideas but also have the experience about communication on emotion.The whole lesson is around with toys and it will lead students across the world of toy fun. Emotionally, we try to teach with entertainment and sincerely hope students learn through playing and grow up with happiness.。

学生情况分析:
本次活动是借班上课,学生情况并不熟悉。

根据教材内容来分析学生已经掌握了许多玩具类的名词,并能认读、拼写。

同时What do you like? I like ______. 以及Do you like ______? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.的句式在前面已有所接触,并能用简单的词语表达自己喜欢的原因,这些都为本课时的教学做好了铺垫。

课时教学目标:
1.知识与技能:
1)能认读有关玩具的名称,如robot, skateboard;
2)能够运用What do you like?和Do you like ____?的问句来询问相关信息,并能做出正确的应答;
3)能够用比较简洁的语言来表述自己喜欢某物的原因;
4)能够在语段和对话的描述中激发学习的兴趣,提高口头表达能力。

2.方法与过程:
在学习robot和skateboard的过程中,通过视频资源分别运用在单词的引出和巩固环节中,动画歌曲让学生在复习巩固单词时学一学、唱一唱,调节课堂学习气氛;在句型的学习过程中通过让学生选一选、做调查、编对话等语言交际活动整合、巩固所学知识。
