父亲节国旗下英语演讲稿(精选3篇)父亲节国旗下英语篇1Millions of words are to be told you, my father, but I have no idea where to start. In my heart, deep respect, affection and appreciation towards you are really beyond words of description…You are always like a mighty mountain, carrying the world on your shoulders. You are always like a broad river, embracing all happiness and sorrow to your bosom. You are always like a solid bridge, assisting me to go through tribulations and hardships. You are always like a firm boat, taking me across all the storms and waves in life…As a father, you are successful, for you have brought your two daughters into successes envied by others. As a husband, you are admirable, for you have been taking good care of your tender wife all the year round. As a son, you are famous and adorable, for you have been so kind to your parents and your wife’s that everyone around turned up their thumbs on you. And as a doctor, you are regretless, for all the folks in the town think highly of your medical techniques and ethics. But how could you be so miserable with your own son? When all the village folks came to bid the last farewell to your son, you squatted there as if you were crawling on the ground. You said you had done everything in that way just for the sake of saving our mother, you said you hadn’t expected it like that and you said…So I came to believe that the HEAVEN is jealous of the real talents, and I thought that your son was trying to escape from this earthly world in front of his seventy-year-old grandmother…However, it was too late. How much did it take you to send your little son -- apple of your eye, pride of your soul -- to the hearse with your own hands? It was October according to the solar calendar, but how came light snow was descending from the sky and all the village folks were coming to see him off?All of a sudden, a happy and harmonious family collapsed, and my mother broke down and meanwhile I was adopted by the most famous school -- No. 1 High School…I didn’t know how you managed to cure my mother’s illness, I didn’t know how you made your lonely way, and I even didn’t know how you alone supported the whole family which almost broke into pieces…When our mother came to a bit, you always told me all the heart-broken stories of your wife as kind of humorous ones. I was startled on hearing them, but you always put smiles on your face.I cannot remember how many times you smoked hard when you were alone. Obviously you were lost in the meditation of the agony and endless yearn…Three years later, when my advice note of college matriculation flew into your hands, a smile of happiness and satisfaction burst on your face, and that was the only time ever since my brother we nt on his way three years before…As your little daughter, a copy of you, my dear father, I was the only pride you’d like to boast and the only source where you derived all your happiness in those three years. But only your little daughter knew what it meant for you to lose such a remarkable and excellent son in the feudal atmosphere at that time. And only your little daughter knew what would brought to the family with her every single word or deed. She knew what it meant to fail in the college entrance examinations, and she knewno one else was bestowed the great responsibility of reviving the family. Therefore, she was determined to succeed in the examinations…I still remember how relieved and satisfied you were when you saw me off at the bus station. Maybe it was I that reignited your hope of life. Anyway my mother recovered from her illness, and our family returned to the good lifestyle of long time before. And I can feel that every time you see my daughter -- your granddaughter, your healthy and lovely granddaughter, you are filled with the passion of life…Your daughter has recently bought an apartment, and this is greater news to you, for you know that life is changing for the better and even better…It is Father’s Day today. Hereby your daughter presents you a song of Father to express my blessings to you and my mother for an eternity in life of happiness and health…父亲节国旗下英语演讲稿篇2Flowers are a wonderful gift of nature. Everyone likes them. Flowers portray love, happiness, joy and all the other positive emotions. Since time immemorial flowers have been an integral part of every celebration and festival. But there has been a misconception. Flowers are mainly associated with feminine gender. It is forgotten that men to have a soft side to them. Gift your father a bouquet of flowers on Father's Day and he surely will be overjoyed. Flowers, especially architectural and bold like tropical flowers, which are masculine, long lasting, tall and sturdy like the fathers usually are, can be given. White and Red Rose are known to be the official flowers of Father's Day. People wear a white rose to honor a father who has deceased and a red rose for a father who is living.Men love bright, hot, bold and aggressive colors like yellows, oranges, purples and reds and the arrangements that they go for are mostly the linear ones that are in sync with their organized, calculating mind. They also love the natural and contemporary floral bouquets that are stylish and trendy. One may opt for roses, daisies or exotic flowers, if only one keeps the color theme in mind. Vivid red roses and yellow daisies are loved by most men and thus make ideal flowers to be gifted on Father's Day父亲节国旗下英语演讲稿篇3各位老师,各位同学:大家好!一提到父母,我们马上就会想到父爱如山,博大深沉;母爱似水,细腻温柔。

It left me feelingas though I d done something wrong; that if I had been better somehow, maybehe d have stayed around. My mother remarried shortly thereafter, and this manwas my dad until I was nineteen. I called him Dad and used his name all throughschool. But, when he and my mother divorced, he just walked away. Once again, Iwondered what was wrong with me that I couldn t keep a father.Mother remarried again, and Bob was a wonderful, kind man. I was twenty nowand no longer living at home, but I felt a great love and attachment for him. Afew years later my mother was diagnosed with cancer and was not given long tolive. Shortly before she died, Bob came over to my house alone one day. Wetalked about a lot of things, and then he told me that he wanted me to know thathe d always be there for me, even after Mother was gone. Then he asked if hecould adopt me.I could hardly believe my ears. Tears streamed down my face. He wanted me -me! This man had no obligation to me, but he was reaching out from his heart, and I accepted. During the adoption proceedings, the judge commented on all theundesirable duties of his profession and then with a tear in his eye, thanked usfor brightening his day as he pronounced us father and daughter. I wastwenty-five, but I was his little girl.Three short years later, Bob, too, was diagnosed with cancer and was gonewithin the year. At first I was hurt and angry at God for taking this fatheraway too. But eventually the love and acceptance that I felt from Dad camethrough again, and I became, once more, grateful for the years we had. On Father s Day I always reflect on what I ve learned about fatherhood.I ve learned that it is not dependent on biology or even on raising a child.Fatherhood is a matter of the heart. Bob s gift from the heart will warm my soulfor eternity.父亲节的英文演讲稿2There are so many people talking about how much their mother love them, whereas seldom people realize how much love their father give them. In fact, father s love is as strong as mother s, but normally, fathers are not very goodof e_pressing their feelings. Father s love is deep and silent, that s why mostpeople think their father love them less. If you carefully go through your childhood memory, you will notice your father is always there when you needthem, though they never said it out loud how much they love you, father s like ashelter when the storm coming, father s like a door when there is dangeroutside, father is someone no matter how you treat him, he will choose to bearall the pressure and let you free. So please cheer for the love of father!父亲节的英文演讲稿3Yesterday was Father s Day.I had planned to give my father a present. He always helps ourneighbors repair bikes, fill the flat, fi_ locks, and so on. Whenever any one isin trouble, he never hesitates to offer his warm hands. All this earns him lotsof friends and their respect as well.Father is filled with enterprise in his life. He lost many chances ofstudying before for .some reasons. But he has never given up learning all thetime. He has read many books on architecture in order to work much better as ahouse-builder. He has gone through lots of difficulties because of hisinadequate education. But he hasn t lost heart at all. He keeps learning withstrong will. Now he has become a very e_cellent worker in his company.父亲节的英文演讲稿5Dear Dad,Today I was at the shopping mall and I spent a lot of time reading theFather’s Day cards. They all had a special message that in some way or anotherreflected how I feel about you. Yet as I selected and read, and selected andread again, it occurred to me that not a single card said what I really want tosay to you. You’ll soon be 84 years old, Dad, and you and I will have had 55 Father’sDays together. I haven’t always been with you on Father’s Day nor have I beenwith you for all of your birthdays. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to be withyou. I’ve always been with you in my heart but sometimes life gets in the way.You know, Dad, there was a time when we were not only separated by thegeneration gap but completely polarized by it. You stood on one side of theGreat Divide and I on the other, father and daughter split apart by age ande_perience, opinions, hairstyles, cosmetics, clothing, curfews, music, andboys. The Father-Daughter Duel of ’54 shifted into high gear when you taught meto drive the old Dodge and I decided I would drive the ‘54 Chevy whether youliked it or not. The police officer who escorted me home after you reported theChevy stolen late one evening was too young to understand father-daughterpolitics and too old to have much tolerance for a snotty _ year old. You wereso decent about it, Dad, and I think that was probably what made it the worstnight of my life.父亲节的英文演讲稿。

What I remember most is the special warmthfrom those hands as he would take me by the shoulder and point out the glittering swoop of ablue hawk, or a rabbit asleep in its lair. They were good hands that served him well and failedhim in only one thing. They never learned to write. My father was illiterate. The number of illiterates3) in our country has steadily declined, butif there were only one I would be saddened4), remembering my father and the pain heendured because his hands never learned to write. He started school in the first grade, wherethe remedy for a wrong answer was ten rule r strokes across a stretched palm. For some reason, shapes, figures and letters just did not fall into the rig ht pattern inside hissix-year-old mind. His father took him out of school after several months and set him to a man’sjob on the farm.Years later, his wife, with her fourth-grade education, would try to teach him to read. And stilllater I would grasp his big fist between my small hands and awkwardly help him to trace theletters of his name. He submitted5) to the ordeal for a short time, but soon grew restless andwould declare that he had hadenough. One night, when he thought no one saw, he slipped away with my second grade reader andlabored over the words until they became too difficult. He pressed his forehead into the pagesand wept. Thereafter, no amount of persuading could bring him to sit with pen and paper. Hedid still like to listen to my mother, and then to me, read to him. He especially enjoyedlistening to us read to him from the Bible. My father was forced to let the bank take possession of most of the acreage6) of his farmlandone year when a crop failure meant he couldn’t make th e mortgage7) payment. He was ableto keep one acre of the farmland where the small farm house was located. From the farm to road building and later to factory work, his hands served him well. His mindwas keen, and his will to work was unsurpassed. His enthusiasm and efficiency brought anoffer to become a line boss--until he was handed the qualification test.Years later, when Mother died, I tried to get him to come and live with my family, but heinsisted on staying in the small house with the garden plot and a few farm animals close by.His health began to fail, and he was in and out of the hospital with two mild heart attacks. OldDoc Green saw him weekly and gave him medication, including nitroglycerin8) tablets to putunder h is tongue should he feel an attack coming on.My last fond memory of Dad was watching as he walked across the brow of a hillside meadowwith those big warm hands resting on the shoulders of my two children. He stopped to point outa pond where he and I had fished years before. The night, my family an d I flew back to ourown home. Three weeks later Dad was dead because of a heart attack.I returned to my father’s home for the funeral. Doc Green told me how sorry he was. In fact, hewas bothered a bit, because he had just written Dad a new prescription, and the druggist9)had filled it. Yet the bottle of pills had not been found on Dad’s person. Doc Green felt that apill might have kept him alive long enough to summon help.I went out to Dad’s garden plot where a neighbor had found him. In grief, I stooped to t racemy fingers in the earth where he had reached the end of his life. My hand came to rest on ahalf-buried brick, which I aimlessly lifted. I noticed underneath it the twisted and battered, yetunbroken, container that had been beaten into the soft earth. As I held the container of pills, the scene of Dad struggling to remove the cap and indesperation trying to break it with the brick flashed painfully before my eyes. With deepanguish I knew why those big hands had lost in their struggle with death. For there, imprintedon the cap, were the words:“Child-proof cap--Push down and twist to unlock. ”The druggist later confirmed that he had just started using the new safety caps.I knew it was not a rational act, but I went right downtown and bought a leather-boundpocket dictionary and a gold pen set.I bade Dad good-bye by placing them in those big hands, once so warm, which had lived so well, but had never learned to write. 父亲节的英文演讲稿2Many years ago, a baby boy came into this world. 英文版父亲节演讲稿范文Ladies and Gentlemen,It is a great honor for me to stand here and address all of you today on Father’s Day. Today is the day that we celebrate and honor the sacrifices and contributions made by our fathers. It is a special day for us to say thank you to the men who have played such an important role in our lives. To me, Father’s Day is not only a day to celebrate my own father, but also a day to celebrate all fathers around the world who have worked hard to provide for their families, who have been a source of strength and inspiration, and who have been there for their children through thick and thin.Growing up, my own dad was always there for me. He worked long hours to provide for our family, but he always made time for me. He taught me valuable lessons about life, love, and family. He supported me through all my endeavors, from soccer games to school plays to college applications. But it’s not just my dad that we should be thanking today. We should also remember all the dads who have served our country, sacrificing time with their families to keep us safe. We should remember the dads who may not be with us anymore but who continue to live on in our memories. We should remember the dads who have adopted children, or who have taken on a father figure role for children who needed one.Being a dad isn’t always easy. It’s a lot of hard work and sacrifice. But it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences a man can have. To all the dads out there – thank you. Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for being there for your families. Thank you for being a source of strength and inspiration. Thank you for being a dad.So on this Father’s Day, let’s take a moment to appreciate our dads. Let’s thank them for all that they’ve done for us. And let’s never forget the sacrifices that they’ve made for their families. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!。

父亲节英文发言稿范文

Today, on this special day dedicated to the fathers, I stand before you to honor and celebrate the most influential men in our lives. Fathers are the pillars of our families, the mentors of our lives, and the symbols of unwavering strength and love. As we gather here today, let us take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary role that our fathers play in shaping us into the individuals we are.First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the fathers present here today. Your presence in our lives is a testament to your love, dedication, and commitment. You are the first heroes we look up to, the first role models we aspire to be like, and the first mentors we seek guidance from.Fathers, you are the providers, the nurturers, and the protectors of our families. You work tirelessly to ensure that our needs are met, that our dreams are nurtured, and that our futures are secure. Your sacrifices are often unseen, but they are no less significant. You are the backbone of our families, the foundation upon which we stand. On this Father's Day, I want to take a moment to remember the lessons you have taught us. You have shown us the importance of hard work, the value of perseverance, and the power of resilience. You have instilledin us the virtues of honesty, integrity, and kindness. Through your actions, you have taught us how to be strong, how to face adversity, and how to overcome obstacles. You have been our biggest supporters, cheering us on from the stands, and encouraging us from the sidelines. Whether it was a sports game, an academic competition, or a life-changing decision, you have always been there to lend us your unwavering support. Your belief in us has been the fuel that drives us to achieve our goals and pursue our dreams.Fathers, you are the ones who teach us the importance of family. You have shown us the value of togetherness, the joy of laughter, and the comfort of shared moments. You have been the ones who have held our hands through thick and thin, who have listened to our fears and celebrated our victories. Your presence has been the glue that has kept our families together, even during the most challenging times. In the words of Winston Churchill, "A father is someone who carries pictures where he should be carrying memories." 父亲节英语演讲稿篇1Hi, everybody. This Sunday is Father’s Day, and so I wanted to take a moment to talk about the most important job many of us will ever have and that’s being a dad.大家好。

周日是父亲节,所以我想花点时间谈谈我们都有的重要工作—当爸爸。

Today we’re blessed to live in a world where technology allows us to connect instantly with just about anyone on the planet. But no matter how advanced we get, there will never be a substitute for the love and support and, most importantly, the presence of a parent in a child’s life. And in many ways, that’s uniquely true for fathers.

I never really knew my own father. I was raised by a single mom and two wonderful grandparents who made incredible sacrifices for me. And there are single parents all across the country who do a heroic job raising terrific kids. But I still wish I had a dad who was not only around, but involved; another role model to teach me what my mom did her best to instill – values like hard work and integrity; responsibility and delayed gratification – all the things that give a child the foundation to envision a brighter future for themselves.我从来没有了解过我的父亲。

And stilllater I would grasp his big fist between my small hands and awkwardly help him to trace theletters of his name. He submitted5) to the ordeal for a short time, but soon grew restless andwould declare that he had had enough. My father was forced to let the bank take possession of most of the acreage6) of his farmlandone year when a crop failure meant he couldn’t make the mortgage7) payment. He was ableto keep one acre of the farmland where the small farm house was located. From the farm to road building and later to factory work, his hands served him well. His mindwas keen, and his will to work was unsurpassed. His enthusiasm and efficiency brought anofferto become a line boss--until he was handed the qualification test.Years later, when Mother died, I tried to get him to come and live with my family, but heinsisted on staying in the small house with the garden plot and a few farm animals close by.His health began to fail, and he was in and out of the hospital with two mild heart attacks. Forthere, imprintedon the cap, were the words:“Child-proof cap--Push down and tw ist to unlock. 父亲节的英语的一分钟演讲稿4Hi, everybody. This Sunday is Father’s Day, and so I wanted to take a moment to talk about the most important job many of us will ever have and that’s being a dad.Today we’re blessed to live in a world where technology allows us to connect instantly with just about anyone on the planet. But no matter how advanced we get, there will never be a substitute for the love and support and, most importantly, the presence of a parent in a child’s life. And in many ways, that’s uniquely true for fathers.I never really knew my own father. I was raised by a single mom and two wonderful grandparents who made incredible sacrifices for me. And there are single parents all across the country who do a heroic job raising terrific kids. But I still wish I had a dad who was not only around, but involved; another role model to teach me what my mom did her best to instill – values like hard work and integrity; responsibility and delayed gratification – all the things that give a child the foundation to envision a brighter future for themselves. That’ s why I try every day to be for Michelle and my girls what my father was not for my mother and me. And I’ve met plenty of other people –dads and uncles and men without afamily connection –who are trying to break the cycle and give more of our young people a strong male role model.Being a good parent –whether you’re gay or straight; a foster parent or a grandparent –isn’t eas y. It demands your constant attention, frequent sacrifice, and a healthy dose of patience. And nobody’s perfect. To this day, I’m still figuring out how to be a better husband to my wife and father to my kids. And I want to do what I can as President to encourage marriage and strong families. We should reform our child support laws to get more men working and engaged with their children. And my Administration will continue to work with the faith and other community organizations, as well as businesses, on a campaign to encourage strong parenting and fatherhood.Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s that all our personal successes shine a little less brightly if we fail at family. That’s what matters most. When I look back on my life, I won’t be thinking about any particular legislation I passed or policy I promoted. I’ll be thinking about Michelle, and the journey we’ve been on together. I’ll be thinking about Sasha’s dance recitals and Malia’s tennis matches –about the conversations w e’ve had and the quiet moments we’ve shared. I’ll be thinking about whether I did right by them, and whether they knew, every day, just how much they were loved. That’s what I think being a father is all about. And if we can do our best to be a source of comfort and encouragement to our kids; if we can show them unconditional love and help them grow into the people they were meant to be; then we will have succeeded.Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, and have a great weekend.父亲节的英语的.一分钟演讲稿5His hands were rough and exceedingly1) strong. We must recognize, and certainly the cornerstone of every father to play a key role. His father, patience, and coaching, both direction, andwords and deeds. Father is a successful example, but also continue to promote the success of our people. But if we open and injustice, will not admit too many fathers in their place……too many childrens lives where, in too many families, the father of this role is missing. The expense of their home responsibilities, acting like the little boy, not man. The basis of our many family and therefore become weak.In speaking these words, I knew that I am not a perfect father ——I know I made mistakes, but the future will make mistakes; I hope to have more time than it is now at home, accompanied by his wife and children, but can not do. All I know, but still have to say this. Because even though we are not perfect, even though we face the difficulties, but still there are some lessons we must strive to experience as a father, to sum up the……whether we are black or white, rich or the poor, from poor South or from wealthy suburbs. The first lesson is that we must make to their children an excellent example ——because if we have high expectations for them, we too, should aim high. You have a job is a good thing, there is a college diploma is good enough. If you are getting married, children around the knee, that could not be better, but not the entire weekend at home watching ESPN Sports "sports center." Many children is under the influence of this growing up near the TV. As a father, as parents, we should spend more time with their children and help them complete their studies, from time to time their TV remote control into the hands of the game or a book. This is the way we lay the cornerstone of the family. We understand that education is the key to creating childrens future. We understand that in order to obtain good jobs, they compete with children around the world. We appreciate thehard work required for this purpose, learning and should reach the level of education. T o truly compete, they need to graduate high school, then college, and perhaps have to take a postgraduate diploma. We shook their hands, that they moved his ass in the librarys seat now!Bring this idea of excellence instilled into the childs mind, it rely on us as fathers and parents. We have a responsibility to tell our daughters, do not let your own values affect the image of being on television, because I expect you to dream without limit, expect you to pursue those dreams. We have a responsibility to tell our son, although the radio songs glorified violence, but in my house, we celebrate achievements, self-esteem and hard work. We have the responsibility to these expectations, it means that we ourselves must also meet these expectations, we have to do in life, a remarkable example. The second experience was as a father, we should identify with the values passed to the child. Not sympathy, but empathy ——to put themselves for the sake of others, see the world from the perspective of others. Sometimes we are so easily obsessed with the "we" word, should forget our obligations to each other. Our society has a cultural concept, keep in mind that these obligations is a sign of weakness ——we should not look weak, so we should not be people that care. However, our young children or children ——girls will observe this. They will see you ignore his wife punched and kicked, they will observe your selfish, so at school or in the street to see the same behavior behavior is not surprising. This requires that we must lead by example, to have empathy with people and pass to our children. We need to set an example to the children, tell them stronger than other people down, but to help others up.This is why we should take responsibility as a father. We should take these practices to our children a solid foundation. But we should also understand that even if we did, even if we do as fathers and parents to the obligations, even if our government has fulfilled its duties, we will encounter in life are still many difficult challenges. We will still be struggling with the painful days, rain will still be hit. Therefore, we concluded as a father should be the last experience, we can give children is the most precious gift is hope.We hope not words of hope, not the kind of blind optimism, or is the problem faced by the willful neglect. I say hope is the kind of misery in the inner spirit ——Even if all the signs are not optimistic that this spirit we believe a better future waiting for us, as long as willing to work for the the struggle. As long as we have this conviction. We try, we hope, we try to put our house in the most solid foundation to build on. When the wind blows, when the rain when the storm hit our house, we firmly believe that God will guide us, watching us, protect us, to lead his children through the darkest of the hurricane, to a bright bright future. This is Fathers Day today, this day I do pray for everyone, which I hold the future of the countrys hope.父亲节的英语的一分钟演讲稿7The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made their first public appearance as a married couple since the royal wedding.Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who chose to delay their honeymoon to attend to royal duties, arrived at a garden party in honour of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday.Held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, the party will be hosting more than 6,000 guests from various charities andmilitary associations linked to the Prince.Although the Prince’s real birthday is on November 14, celebrations are held in May as it is more fitting for a garden party.During her first public appearance as a member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex appeared right at home in her new role. She arrived wearing a light cream colour 590 ‘Flavia’ dress by designer Goat, and a matching hat. While at the party, the 36-year-old bonded with her in-laws the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, and Prince Charles, laughing together over a shared joke. The Duke of Sussex also had an important role at the party, where he gave a speech honouring his father’s charity work, as well as the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing and the work of the emergency crews.Prince Harry sa id: “We’re here today to reflect on and to celebrate my father’s dedicated support to all of you and the work that you do.“But first I would like us to take a moment to reflect on the tragic events at the Manchester Arena a year ago.“We are fortunate to have over 250 representatives from the emergency services here today. But howcould you be so miserable with your own son? Obviously you were lost in the meditation of the agony and endless yearn…Three years later, when my advice note of college matriculation flew into your hands, a smile of happiness and satisfaction burst on your face, and that was the only time eversince my brother went on his way three years before…As your little daughter, a copy of you, my dear father, I was the only pride you’d like to boast and the only source where you derived all your happiness in those three years. But only your little daughter knew what it meant for you to lose such a remarkable and excellent son in the feudal atmosphere at that time. And only your little daughter knew what would brought to the family with her every single word or deed. She knew what it meant to fail in the college entrance examinations, and she knew no one else was bestowed the great responsibility of reviving the family. Hereby your daughter presents you a song of Father to express my blessings to you and my mother for an eternity in life of happiness and health…。

ButI didn't remember it until in the morning. It was too late to post a card to him.So I decided to buy something. When I was in the department store. I found itwas not easy for me to choose something right for him.Suddenly I got an idea. I ran home and opened my puter. I made abeautiful card and mailed him through the Internet. then I began to make supper. When father came home, he was very glad to find a big meal on the table. then Iasked him to check his e-mail. He was amazed to find a beautiful card in hise-mail-box.What a wonderful surprise!父亲节演讲稿英语作文篇2Dear Dad,Today I was at the shopping mall and I spent a lot of time reading theFather’s Day cards. They a ll had a special message that in some way or anotherreflected how I feel about you. Yet as I selected and read, and selected andread again, it occurred to me that not a single card said what Ireally want tosay to you. You’ll soon be 84 years old, Dad, and you and I will have had 55 Father’sDays together. I haven’t always been with you on Father’s Day nor have I beenwith you for all of your birthdays. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to be withyou. I’ve always been with you in my heart but sometimes life gets in theway. You know, Dad, there was a time when we were not only separated by thegeneration gap but pletely polarized by it. You stood on one side of theGreat Divide and I on the other, father and daughter split apart by age andexperience, opinions, hairstyles, cosmetics, clothing, curfews, music, andboys. The Father-Daughter Duel of ’54 shifted into high gear when you taught meto drive the old Dodge and I decided I would drive the ‘54 Chevy whether youliked it or not. The police officer who escorted me home after you reported theChevy stolen late one evening was too young to understand father-daughterpolitics and too old to have much tolerance for a snotty 16 year old. You wereso decent about it, Dad, and I think that was probably what made it the worstnight of my life. Our relationship improved immensely when I married a man you liked, andthings really turned around when we begin making babies right and left. Wedidn’t have a television set, you know, and we had to entertain ourselvessomeho w. I didn’t know what to expect of you and Mom asgrandparents but Ididn’t have to wait long to find out. Those babies adored you then just as theyadore you now. When I see you with all your grandchildren, I know you’ve giventhem the finest gift a grandpar ent can give. You’ve given them yourself.Somewhere along the line, the generation gap evaporated. Age separates usnow and little else. We agree on most everything, perhaps because we’ve learnedthere isn’t much worth disagreeing about. However, I would like to mention thatfly fishing isn’t all you’ve cracked it up to be, Dad. You can say what you wantabout wrist action and stance and blah, blah, blah.I’ve been happily drifting for a lot of years, Dad, and I didn’t see yougetting older.I suppose I saw us and our relationship as aging together, rather like afine wine. Numbers never seemed important. But the oddest thing happened lastweek. I was at a stop sign and I watched as you turned the corner in your car.It didn’t immediately occur to me tha t it was you because the man driving lookedso elderly and fragile behind the wheel of that huge car. It was rather like aslap in the face delivered from out of nowhere. Perhaps I saw your age for thefirst time that day. Or maybe I saw my own.Fifty years ago this spring we planted kohlrabi together in a garden inCharles City, Iowa.I didn’t know then that I would remember that day for the rest of my life. This week, we’ll plant kohlrabi together again, perhaps for the last time but Ihope not. I don’t understand why planting kohlrabi with you is so important tome but it is. And the funny thing about it is, well, I don’t know quite how totell you this, Dad...I don’t even like kohlrabi...but I like planting it withyou.I guess what I’m trying to say, Dad, is what every son and daughter wantsto say to their Dad today. Honoring a Father on Father’s Day is about more thana Dad who brings home a paycheck, shares a dinner table, and attends schoolfunctions, graduations, and weddings. It isn’t even so much about kohlrabi, ’54Chevrolets, and fly-fishing. It’s more about unconditionally loving children whoare snotty and stubborn, who know everything and won’t listen to anyone. It’sabout respect and sharing and acceptance and tolerance and giving and taking. It’s about loving someone more than words can say,and it’s wishing that it neverhad to end.I love you, Dad.父亲节演讲稿英语作文篇3I think my father is a kind man, he love help people, and always forget todo something for himself. He has a good sence of humor, yes, I like that. Thatalways make us happy.I think he is a friend of mine. Because he always talk with me. I oftenfeel I am not his daughter but his friend.I think that my father is a good father and also a good worker. He worksvery hard. So he can't play with me or my mum for long time. He think work willmake him happy because work has many funny. So he always teaches me: don't thinkwork is a hard thing. My father has many hobby. For example, he like reading, and he also likeplay puter game. He use his hobby to realx. He can feel very happy if hework, and also play.He is a good man, isn't he?
