重点:1. 谈论度假和旅游的话题。

2. 初步掌握时间状语从句的用法。

难点:掌握 when 和 while 引导的时间状语从句的用法。

课前预习
1 把下列单词译成中文,然后朗读并默写。

2、观察 1c 中的图片并阅读图片下的词语,然后听 1a 录音,勾出与录音内容相符的图片。

3、再听 1a 的录音,根据对话内容为 1b 中的句子排序,然后朗读 1a,核对答案。

4.下面的句子选自 1a,请仔细观察。

1)While you enjoying your trip,I was busy preparing for my exams.
2)I’d like you to meet him when he arrives.
3)Would you help me make a plan to explore Beijing before he comes?
总结:以上三个句子是由两个简单句通过表示时间的连接词__________, __________, 和__________连接而成的,这样的句子称为时间状语从句。

5.观察 3 中的例句的特点然后模仿例句,根据图片及所给的单词用连词 when 或 while 造句。

思考:when 引导的从句中动词可为_________(持续性动词/短暂性动词);while 引导的从句中动词只能为___________(持续性动词/短暂性动词)。

6、朗读 2 中的句子,试把答语与问句恰当地搭配起来,然后和你的同伴一起设计情景,进行邀请与应答练习。

7、预习指导
1)work out“算出”,后接名词或代词作宾语,当宾语为:it/them”时,须放在中间。

This problem is too difficult for me. I can’t work it out.这道数学题太难了,我算不出来。

2)On vacation “度假” on line “在线” on holiday “在度假” on sale “出售”3)While you were enjoying your trip, I was busy preparing for my exams.你在愉快地游玩时,我正忙着准备考试。

句中 while 意为“当--时候”,其引导的句子在句中作时间状语,称作时间状语从句。

While 引导的从句多表示“在一个动作发生的过程中,另一个动作也在进行”。

此时从句中的谓语动词要用延续性动词。

如:I was doing my homework while my mother was washing clothes. 妈妈洗衣服的时候我正在做作业。

当从句为一般过去时,主句和从句的时态要一致。

如: They were drawing on the blackboard when the teacher came in.他们正在黑板上画画,这时老师进来了。

1.Check if the students have read and recited the new words and phrases.

Ⅱ.合作学习展示:
1.Read and listen 1a, then finish 1b.
2 Finish 1c.Then ask some students to retell it.
3.Part 2. Read and match the sentences. Then find more similar expressions from 1a and pratice with your partner.
4.Part 3. Look at the pictures and make sentences with while or when.

思考:为什么“在东、南---方”既可以说 in the east/south---又可以说 to the east/south---呢?
4.根据 4a 中音标提示,大声朗读 4a 中的单词,区别字母 s, th 在单词中的发音。

字母 s 在单词中常发______,th 在单词中常发_____。

5.预习指导
1)wait 动词,“等,等待”。

Wait for sb./sth. 意为“等待某人或某物”。

如:Please wait for me here. 请在这儿等我。

2)I can’t wait to see it.我等不及要去看它了。

Can’t wait 用于对即将发生的事感到兴奋和迫不及待,can’t wait to do sth.意为“迫不及待要做某事”。

如:He can’t wait to go home
3)The Great Hall of the People is to the west of the Monument to the People’s Heroes.人民大会堂在人民英雄纪念碑的西边。

To 用来表示互不接壤。

如:Zhejiang is to the southeast of Henan.浙江在河南的东南部。

In 表示在某一区域范围内,如:China is in the east of Asia.中国在亚洲的东部。

on 则表示两地相互接壤。

该句是由after 引导的状语从句,本课还有as“当-----时候” ,until“直到------为止”和as soon as“一------就------”引导的时间状语从句,它既可为于主句之前,又可为于主句之后。
