Lesson 49: Hobbies Are Fun!
◆课程导航
【教学目标】1. 让同学们谈论一下自己的爱好
2. 通过对本课话题的讨论,激发学习英语的兴趣
3.培养对个人有益的爱好,使在多方面都能得到发展
【教学重点】1. New words and phrases of the section.
2. Understand the information about hobby in the dialogue and catch the key words.
3. Use what we learn to describe one’s own hobby.
【教学难点】1. Shopping in western countries.
2. Guess one’s hobby is according to his demonstrate.
3. Enable students to talk about their hobbies.
◆教学情景导入入
Good morning, class. In our spare time, everyone has their favorite thing to do, it is often said that we love, everyone has their own hobbies. Do you know what Danny’s hobby is . Let’s know about Danny’s hobby.
◆教学过程设计
Step 1. Ask the students to talk about what a hobby is. And then let the students explain “hobby” in English.
Listen their answers and sum: A hobby is what you like to do in your spare time.
Step 2. Come to “Think About It!”. Talk about your hobby with your partner. If you don’t have a hobby, what hobby would you like to have? Let the students guess what Danny’s hobby is.
They maybe answer Taking pictures is his hobby.
Step 3. Get the students to listen to the tape and get some basic information of this conversation.
T: Where did this conversation take place? S: ……
T: What things did Danny want to buy at first? S: ……
T: What did he buy at last? S: ……
T: Did he buy anything else? S: ……
Step 4. Ask the students to read the dialogue silently. Explain some language points to help them have a further understanding of this conversation and ask them to then act it out.

Step 5. Come to “Project”. Divide the class into several groups and finish the project. When the students are discussing, the teacher walks around the classroom and help them if necessary.
And then ask some groups to act their dialogues out.
Step 6. Homework. Get the students to make their own dialogue according to this text.

●教学反思
学生在写作时,我注意到他们往往不注意审题,所以造成作文分数往往上不去,我向他们讲解其中的利害。

每篇作文都会有一定的要求,有的是通过文字给予说明,有的是通过画面提出要求,因此,学生在着手作文时应通过审题,对所写内容的体裁、格式、采用的基本时态做到心中有数。

例如:有的要求以书信格式,有的要求写E-mail,有的要求以对话形式表达。

如果学生不按规定的格式去写,即使文字表达再优美,最终也不会得到理想的结果。

所以今后我要求学生仔细审题,明确要求。
