Warm-up :
1.Engage the students in a discussion about the importance of
communication and the role of technology in enabling communication across distances.

Pre-writing activity :

they will be writing a letter to a pen pal and including some photos.

pal who lives in a different country. They should write a letter to their pen pal, introducing themselves and their interests, and asking their pen pal to send some photos.
2.Remind students to use appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and
expressions learned in previous units or lessons.
3.Walk around the classroom to provide guidance and assistance as
needed.
4.Encourage the students to be creative and include relevant
information about their hobbies, favorite activities, school life, and anything they find interesting to share.
Post-writing activity:
1)In pairs or small groups, have the students exchange their letters and
provide feedback to each other. Encourage them to suggest improvements and help each other correct any language errors.
2)Ask a few students to share their letters and experiences with the
class, and highlight any well-written examples.
3)Discuss the importance of clear communication and the cultural
exchange that can occur through letter writing and sharing photos.
4)Emphasize the significance of respecting privacy and cultural
differences when exchanging photos.
Extension activity (optional):
1.If time allows, provide an opportunity for students to bring in or
share photos of their own to support their letter’s content.
2.Encourage students to discuss the photos and engage in
conversations about the places, activities, or events depicted.
3.This activity will further enhance cultural awareness and help
students connect their writing with real-life experiences. Assessment:

communicate their thoughts and ideas, apply appropriate grammar and vocabulary, and adhere to the letter-writing format.
◆Provide constructive feedback on areas for improvement.
◆Consider including criteria such as creativity, organization, and clarity
in the assessment.
