The red ribbon, an international symbol of AIDS awareness, is gaining increasing public recognition as more Chinese, from top leaders to movie stars, wear it today.
Gone were the days when the topic of HIV/AIDS was a public and media taboo(禁忌). Over the past few years, we have watched, read and heard many stories from doctors, volunteers and public health officials at the forefront of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.

Doctors say playing music to patients while they have an operation can reduce their anxiety. An unemployed graduate is troubled by eczema{湿疹}.A divorced woman develops high blood pressure. Are these situations connected or mere coincidences{巧合}?
Of all the influences on our health and well-being , stress is the most common one. And because the misery of stress is often experienced as much in the body as the mind---tiredness, headaches, tense muscles and the like –common sense tells us that psychological stress leaves us likely to suffer from physical illness.
While most people outside medicine happily accept this view, it has been viewed
with a much greater degree of suspicion within the field. But a recent finding from a team led by Sheldon Cohen in Pittsburgh could finally have revealed a link, offering perhaps the best level. The work represents an important step in understanding the mechanism{原理} of stress. Further studies showed that the longer stressful events lasted ,the greater chance people will have to suffer from physical illness. Therefore, it is necessary for people to pay more attention to the effects of stress. 【写作内容】

My life is also full of stress, especially the pressure from my study results, which disturbs me a lot. Whenever faced with stress , I will always keep saying to myself :there is no big deal. After all life pleasure lies in the process of struggling for our dream rather than the result. As long as I have made every effort .
I will feel no regrets. Therefore ,no matter in what case, we should hold an optimistic attitude towards life ,which ,in my view ,is a good way to free ourselves from stress.。
