As I stand outside the classroom door, my heart flutters like a butterfly in my chest. My little sister, Sarah, is taking her first big exam today. The sun peeks through the clouds, casting dappled shadows on the playground where we once laughed and played together. I watch as she tightens her ponytail one last time, takes a deep breath, and steps confidently into the room. A wave of nostalgia washes over me; I remember my own first test day, how Mum gave me a reassuring squeeze on the hand and whispered, "Youve got this."
Parents and siblings alike wait anxiously, some pacing, others silent, their expressions mirroring the mixed feelings of
nervousness and pride. Were not allowed to go in, but were herestanding guard like superheroes ready to swoop in with comforting words or an emergency snack pack as soon as the doors open again.。
