Step1 Pre-reading
1. Enjoy a song about animals.
2. Brain storming: What animals do you know?
T: Guess: What animal do I like?
(Draw an elephant on the blackboard)
【设计意图:通过歌曲和简笔画,引出故事的主人公,激发学生读故事的欲望,从而活跃课堂气氛。


Step2 While-reading
1. Read the cover
2. Look and say

Read the book from pages 4-15 and find why.

【设计意图:以倒叙的方式引发学生对故事的好奇,其中生成性的表演成分居多,旨在以绘本为基础,锻炼学生的口语表达能力。

【设计意图:反转戏的引入是为了更加突出主人公小象的前后对比,这样的形式也能让学生全员参与,感受英语绘本课堂的魅力。

教学准备:人物图片、头饰、多媒体课件
板书设计:
反思:本节课有关于动物,开头让大家通过歌曲进入状态,然后Brian storm导入今天的动物主角们,各个过渡环节比较自然,几乎做到无缝衔接,这是我比较满意的,学生的兴趣比较浓厚。

但是,本节课没有考虑到的一点是,课前学生不知道要上一节绘本课,没有任何准备,进入从未见过的未来教室后比较兴奋,按组坐,很难马上进入状态,比较遗憾。

大部分同学还是状态很好,在其中学习到了礼貌的重要性。
