Teaching gives teachers pace, and variety, and challenge, and the opportunity to keep on learning. It offers an opportunity for reflection, research, and writing in June, July and August. Teachers have the freedom to make their own mistakes, to learn their own lessons, to stimulate themselves and their students. Besides, they have chances to find ways of getting themselves and their students out of the ivory tower and into the real word. They also have a cooperative relationship with their students. What’s more, it’s really nice that teachers have those people who grow and change in front of them. And teaching offers something besides money and power: it offers love. It offers the love that a teacher feels for that rare student who walks into a teacher’s life and begins to breathe.
However, teaching is difficult. It is a hard work---- red-eye, sweaty-palm, sinking stomach. Sometimes, they have to stay up late to prepare the lesson and they are always nervous before they enter the classroom. They leave the classroom an hour later also convinced that they were even more boring than usual. Even they don’t have much money, although they are laborious.。
