乐高动物园教案
一、教学目标:
1.知识与技能目标:
(1)能够认识并说出10个常见动物的英文名称。
(2)掌握表示动物的基本句型,“It’s a/an + 词典中的动物名称.”,“Is it a/an + 词典中的动物名称?” 的用法。
2.过程与方法目标:
(1)通过激发学生的学习兴趣,采用游戏化的教学方式,提
高学生的学习积极性。
(2)鼓励学生积极参与小组合作活动,让每个学生都得到机
会发言和表达观点的机会。
3.情感态度和价值观目标:
(1)培养学生热爱动物,关注环境保护的意识,增强责任感。
(2)培养学生的团队合作和积极参与的精神。
二、教学重点:
1. 听、说、认读动物的英文名称。
2. 运用“It’s a/an + 词典中的动物名称。
”、“Is it a/an + 词典中
的动物名称?” 表示动物分类和区分。
三、教学资源:
1. 动物图片。
2. 乐高动物模型。
四、教学过程:
Step 1: Warming-up
1. Greeting: Greet the students with a song or a warm-up activity like clapping hands or jumping.
2. Review: Review the animals the students have learned before by showing them pictures and asking questions like “What animal is it?”, “What color is it?”.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Introduce 10 new animals with pictures and say their names in English. For example, “This is a lion. It’s big and yellow.”
2. Let the students repeat after the teacher a few times until they can say the names correctly.
3. Show the Lego animal models to the students and tell them the names of the animals again. Ask the students to say the names with you.
Step 3: Practice
1. Game: Play a game called “What's missing?” Show the students the Lego animal models and let them look at them carefully. Then cover the models and remove one of them. Ask the students to guess which animal is missing. Model the question for them: “Is the lion missing?” The student who guesses correctly can come to the front and remove the next animal.
2. Pair work: Give each student a picture of an animal. Ask them to find a partner and ask each other questions to guess the animal. For example, one student asks “Is it a bird?”, the other student answers “No, it isn’t.” Continue until they find each other’s animals.
3. Group work: Divide the students into groups of four. Give each group a set of animal pictures. Ask them to take turns asking and answering questions about the animals using the sentence structure
“Is it a/an + 词典中的动物名称?” For example, one student asks “Is it a snake?”, another student answers “No, it isn’t.” The student who guesses correctly can keep the picture.
4. Game: Play a board game to review the animals and the sentence structures. Students take turns rolling a dice and moving their game pieces. When they land on a space, they need to say the name of the animal correctly to stay on the space.
Step 4: Extension
1. Encourage the students to draw their favorite animal and show it to the class. The student can teach the class to say the name of the animal in English.
2. Optional: Show a video or a documentary about animals and discuss with the students what they have learned.
