A Dream in the Past
Last night, I had a dream. It was a dream from the past, a memory that felt so real yet so distant. In my dream, I found myself walking down a familiar street in my hometown. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over everything. I could hear the sound of children playing in the distance and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze.
As I walked, I passed by the old bakery where I used to buy my favorite pastries as a child. The smell of fresh bread and sugar wafted out from the shop, bringing back a flood of memories. I could almost taste the warm, sugary goodness of the pastries on my tongue.
Next, I found myself standing in front of my old school. The building looked exactly as I remembered it, with its red brick walls and white columns. I could hear the echoing laughter of my classmates and the sound of the school bell ringing. I walked through the halls, running my fingers along the lockers and the classroom doors.
As I continued my dream journey, I found myself at the park where I used to play with my friends. The swings and slides
looked just as they did in my childhood, inviting me to sit and relive those carefree days. I could hear the sound of children’s laughter and the chirping of birds in the trees.
Finally, I arrived at my childhood home. The familiar sight of the white picket fence and the blooming flowers greeted me as I approached the front door.
