The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later, they passed some people that remarked, “What a shame, he makes that little boy walk."
3. How did the water bearer take advantage of the cracked pot’s flaw?
He took advantage of the pot’s flaw and planted some flower seeds on his side of the path. So every day as they walked back from the stream, they watered them. And they had so many beautiful flowers.
The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along, some people remarked, “it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy was riding.”
Was this flaw a real one? Was it really bad? Just look at what the clever bearer did. He took advantage of the flaw and planted a lot of seeds on the cracked pot’s side of the road. Because of the water from this pot, the flowers grew very well. They could appreciate beautiful flowers just because of the cracked pot. So, everything has two sides. Just make full use of your flaws.
This is a fable.
