Lesson 11 To China, With love说课稿
一教材分析
1.教材的地位与作用
本单元以伟人为话题展开,谈论伟人及其生活。

让学生能够了解生命的意义,做一个对社会有贡献的人。

本课是第二单元第五课时,主要是以白求恩的工作生活为话题,学习本课对学生的学习和生活具有很深的启发教育意义。

2.教学目标
1).知识目标:掌握本课的单词短语
graduate,Toronto,remain,anti-,decision,aid,worst,co ndition,operate,government,medical;短语T.B.,remain in use,be well known for…,Anti-Japanese War,make a decision,first aid,day after day,set up。

掌握重点句型:
(1).Norman Bethune is well known for helping the Chinese people in the Anti-Japanese War.
(2).In 1938,he made a decision to go to northern China because he knew many people were dying in the war.
(3).To remember him,the government set up Bethune Medical School and Bethune International Peace Hospital in Shijiazhuang.
2) 能力目标:能够读懂文章,明白文章的主旨大意,并掌握这样文章的结构。

3)情感目标:通过学习这篇课文让学生明白生活的意义。

3. 教学重难点
重点:理解课文大意并能够正确应用本课的重点词汇: graduate,Toronto,remain,anti-,decision,aid,worst,c ondition,operate,government,medical;掌握重点短语
T.B.,remain in use,be well known for…,Anti-Japanese War,make a decision ,first aid,day after day,set up。

难点:掌握before,after,as引导的时间状语从句和that 引导的定语从句。

二、说教法
本课的教学内容是冀教版九年级英语第二单元的第十一课,主要以“为爱来中国”为题,利用多媒体展示白求恩的图片导入新课,激发学生的学习兴趣。

通过小组合作的方式,激发学生的积极性,锻炼学生快速阅读课文的能力。

理解课文内容并复述课文,发挥学生们的记忆潜能,最终达到语言综合运用能力。

三、说学法
结合本课的特点,我主要指导学生采用通过听、说、读的方法来学习本课。

通过听,可以捕捉有用的信息,读,可以详细理解文章意思,说,可以应用所学的表达方式。

长期
训练这三种学习方法可有效提高学生的听、说、读的能力。

四、说教学过程
StepⅠ.Lead in
Leading in
(The teacher shows some pictures on PPT.)Who is the man.Can you tell me?
[设计意图] 利用图片直接导入新课,师生互动,激发学生的学习兴趣。

StepⅡ.Presentation
The teacher presents the new words on the screen.Ask students to try to read these words.The students follow the teacher three times.Then give the students four or five minutes to memorize the new words.
[设计意图] 呈现本课中出现的词汇,领着学生们朗读并记忆,让学生们了解重点词汇,为下一步的阅读做好铺垫。

StepⅢ.Reading
1.Read the text aloud.
T:Boys and girls,it’s our reading time.Please read after the video and you should pay more attention to your pronunciation.Try your best to imitate,clear?
[设计意图] 让学生跟着视频模仿大声朗读课文,纠正学生的发音,培养语感。

2.Scan reading.
T:Boys and girls,now that you have known something about Bethune,let’s read the passage to get more about him.Please read quickly and do the following exercise.
Show Let’s Do It!No. 1 on PPT.
Read the lesson and write true(T)or false(F).
[设计意图] 培养学生们快速阅读的能力,学会找出文章的关键句,以找到答案为目的。

3.Careful reading.
Show Let’s Do It!No 2. on PPT.
What did Bethune do?Read the lesson and complete the list. .
[设计意图] 细读课文,掌握文章的内容。

4.Read the text and find out main phrases and sentences.
Main phrases:
1).graduate from 2).remain in use 3).be well known for 4).Anti-Japanese War
5).make a decision 6).first aid 7).day after day 8).set up
Main sentences:
·Bethune organized hospitals,taught doctors and
nurses,and showed people how to give first aid.
·People remember how hard he worked day after day in the worst possible conditions to help others.
·He once operated for sixty-nine hours straight without stopping.
·To remember him,the government set up Bethune Medical School and Bethune International Peace Hospital in Shijiazhuang.
[设计意图] 对文中的重难点句型进行讲解,帮助学生明确语言点,为课文的理解清除障碍
StepⅣ.Quiz time

Ⅱ.用所给词的适当形式填空
[设计意图] 考查学生对当堂知识的掌握情况,突出重点内容。

StepⅥ.Consolidation
Let students read the text carefully again.Then ask them to do the following exercise on the screen without looking at the book.
[设计意图] 考查学生对课文内容的掌握情况。

StepⅦ. Summary
In this class,we’ve learnt something about a great man named Bethune and understood we should love and help others when they are in trouble.
[设计意图] 给学生以总结,让学生明确这节课的学习内容。

StepⅧ.Homework
1.Finish off the exercises in the activity book.
2.Read the next lesson in the student’s book.
3.Write an e-mail to a student in Canada.Tell him or her something about one of the most famous people in Chinese history,such as Lin Zexu or Sun Yat-sen.
