从前有一个牧羊人，养了很多羊。

白天放牧，晚上把它们赶进一个用柴草和木桩围起来的羊圈内。

一天早晨，这个牧羊人去放羊，发现羊少了一只。

原来羊圈破了个窟窿。

夜间有狼从窟窿里钻了进来，叼走了一只羊。

邻居劝他赶快把羊圈修一修。

他却说：“羊都已经丢了，还修羊圈有什么意义。

”他没有接受邻居们的好心劝告。

第二天早上，他去放羊，发现羊又少了一只。

原来狼又从窟窿钻进去叼走了一只羊。

这位牧羊人很后悔没有接受邻居们的劝告，去及时采取补救措施。

于是，他赶紧堵上那个窟窿。

又把整个羊圈都加固了一番，羊圈比以前更加牢固了。

从此，牧羊人的羊再也没有丢过。

这个故事告诉我们：在我们的一生中，犯错误，遭受挫折都是很正常的事情，只要能够及时吸取教训，弥补错误，就能避免再次犯错，从而遭受较少的损失。

2.不可数名词
不可数名词一般只有原形，没有复数形式，但是可以借助量词表示一定的数量。

如果表达两个或两个以上的概念时，量词需要用复数形式，不可数名词不变。

e.g. a bottle of water ，a cup of coffee，two glasses of milk ，five bags of rice
▲ 这种形式用于可数名词时，量词和可数名词都要用复数。

e.g. ten baskets of eggs
【知识梳理4】名词所有格
一.表示有生命物的名词的所有格
（1）单数名词词尾加’s，复数名词如果词尾没有s，也要加’s。

the boy's bag 男孩的书包
Mike's knife 迈克的刀子
the children's room 孩子们的房间
men's room 男厕所
（2）若名词已有复数词尾s，只加’
the students' bags 学生们的书包
the teachers' reading-room 教师阅览室
（3）表示几个人共有一样东西，只需在最后一个人的名字后加's。

如表示各自所有，则需在各个名字后加's。

This is Tom and Jason's room. 这是汤姆和杰森共有的房间。

These are Tom's and Jason's rooms. 这些是汤姆和杰森各自的房间。

二.表示无生命物的名词所有格
如果名词是无生命的，我们就要用名词+of +名词的结构来表示所有关系。
