【摘要】The compilation of bilingual dictionaries originates from translation activities of human beings.It is realized by means of translation and has always served for translation practice of human beings.For several decades,many theoretical and empirical studies have been carried
out.Empirical studies focus on the principles,methods and strategies while theoretical studies devote themselves to appropriate theories to guide the translation of bilingual translation.On the theoretical studies,emerging and developing of cognitive linguistics provide the new guidance for it.By making a general survey,we can see the turn and evolution of translation of bilingual dictionaries.%双语词典的编纂,因人类翻译活动之需而萌生,也借助翻译的手段来实现。

几十年来,实践性的研究致力于在双语词典中翻译应遵循什么样的原则、方法和策略;而理论性的研究则侧重于用什么样的理论来指导双语词典的翻译最为合适。

在理论研究方面,认知语言学的兴起和发展为双语词典的翻译提供了新的理论指导。

通过纵观双语词典翻译的研究,我们不难看出双语词典翻译研究的转向和演变趋势。
