Unit 1 Li Ming Comes to Canada
一、General goals for unit 1
Levels 7 and8 inthe learning English program tell a story . Li Ming comes toCanadato learn English . He stays with Jenny’s family and experiences Canadian schooling , food and culture .He also teaches Jenny’s family about Chinese culture .

Make up a dialogue about meeting someone at the airport . Divide the class into small groups . Ask each group to include in their dialogue the question and answer . “ What time is it ? It’s ”Enounce the students to be creative and to use as many English phrases as they can .

一、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1.学生能听懂会读本课课文。
2.使学生通过练习复习句子:What time is it? It’s ____.复习所学过的时间表达法。
(二)能力目标
1.学生能够模仿课文对话,能练习相互问候的日常用语。
2.培养以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力,练习该如何表达时间。

课后小结:本课是一个复习,巩固,让学生适应长假的课时,所以在本课的讲解中,我由浅入深.先由问候语入手,逐步延伸到"What time is it ?"句型.学生掌握良好.有的个别的学生对"suitcases"的单复数的概念还有点模糊,有待于在教学中不断改进.
本课总体来说一个复习课,没有太多的生单词,而在讲课时不能出色的完成,可以说我准备的不够,以后要引以为戒,备好每一节课,上好每一堂课.
四、教学资源:起居室和客厅的区别
简单的说,区别:客厅主要是用来接待客人的地方,起居室主要是家人一起聊天,看电视的地方。因为咱们现在的条件有限,一般人家是把客厅和起居室没有分开,一个空间,两种功能。

This lesson we understand that Li Ming arrivedCanada. Danny and Jenny meet Li Ming at an airport . We learned how to ask and answer the phrases “ What time is it ? It’s ”.

Difficult point : Master the pronunciation of nouns for rooms and furniture and ask and answer the important sentences .
