Topic: If you tell him the truth, you’ll prove how honest you are. Teaching procedure:
Step 1 Warming-up
Review "if" clause。

复习旧知识为学习新知识做铺垫。

老师抽问学生回答.
T: If you are happy ,what will you do? S:
T:If MissHu goes to another school, what will you do? S:
Step 2 New words study借用图片学习单词,把单词放在情景当中学习,把相关联的单词串成一个故事。

开拓了学生的思维,具有较强的预测性和推测性.
展示pocket money图片T:If you have pocket money, what will you do? S: I will buy a computer.
展示computer图片T:If you have a computer,what will you do?
S: If I have a computer ,I will use it for my job,maybe I will play games to relax at the weekend.
展示warn图片T:If your father warns you not to play games ,what will you do?
S: If your father warns you not to play computergames,you will not play it.
展示virus图片T:If you play games, maybe your computer will have a virus,I think it's terrible,so your computer goes wrong ,you should ask someone to mend it.
展示If you break弄坏your father’s computer ,you should be honest and tell him the truth.At least,it will prove that you are honest.
学生齐读单词及时巩固记忆掌握。

Step 3 Reading(规定时间让学生有时间观念和紧迫感)

Skimmimg 略读
1.让学生快速略读两篇信件第一遍做选择题,明显的信息。

提示:1.注意文章体裁:信件。

2.收信人、写信人姓名在信件格式中位置。

2.让学生略读第二遍做选择题。

提示略读是获取文章大意最有效最快速的技巧之一。

一般来说,会是限时阅读的方式,时间有限,不可能逐字逐句地通读全文,通常快速浏览标题、图片、首尾段及每段的首尾句以获取文章大意。

Skanning找读跳读
1要求学生找读第一封信判断正误T or F,此题难度不大选取的是四个主要信息,学生可以从文章的细节去推测Steve的问题为下一题做选择题做铺垫。

(限时3分钟)
1. Steve’s friend brought a new computer game.
2. Steve’s father warned him not to use his computer to play games.
3. Steve decided not to try Da Wei’s game.
4. The computer wasn’t work because it had a virus.
2要求学生快速默读课文,找出Steve's problem课文37页练习题。

(限时1分钟)
3要求学生找读第二封信回答四个主要问题,此题难度不大选取的是四个重要信息,学生可以从文章的细节去推测Diana的建议为下一题做选择题做铺垫。

(限时3分钟)

2.What are the mistakes?
3.How many pieces of advice does Diana give?
4.What are the pieces of advice?
4要求学生快速默读课文,找出Diana的建议课文37页练习题。

(限时1分钟)
5.要求学生细读第一段回答4个次要问题,回答4个wh问题。

重在培养学生的细节理解能力。

让学生明白阅读中的what why who where 以及how都是我们应该注意的细节。

(限时5分钟)
