摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet printer which has an excellent durability without allowing its nozzle to be damaged at all, by forming on the tip of an ink jet nozzle holder a cylindrical section surrounding the tip section of an ink jet nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a small tube 1, which forms the main body of an ink jet nozzle, is a nozzle section 2 equipped with an orifice 6. As a piezoelectric element 3, which is set in the neighborhood of the small tube 1, takes displacemet when voltage is impressed, ink can be discharged by applying pressure onto the ink contained in the small tube 1. As the small tube 1 which has such an extremely small nozzle section 2 is susceptible to an external force, the entire section is covered by a holder 7. For this holder 7 which has on its tip a cylindrical section 7a extending around the nozzle section 2, a consideration is taken so as not allow it to contact a printing paper 9 or a pencil and paper, etc. which are held by an operator.
