We Have Only One World
With rapid development of industry in almost all areas, environmental pollution is getting more and more serious. First, rivers in cities and in the countryside are no longer clean. The water in them is undrinkable without being purified. Second, the air is becoming dirtier in which industrial dust and waste are floating. Moreover, in the past few decades, natural disasters have been very serious, with floods and droughts further destroying our environment.
But why do we have so many environmental problems? The first reason is that waste water from daily life and industrial uses that is released into rivers without treatment. The second reason is that a lot of chimneys emit smoke and dust into the air.
One more reason is that people have destroyed large areas of forests and seriously upset the balance of nature.
We have only one world, and it is our common habitat. When one part of it is in danger, it will not ha long before the effects are felt by other parts of the world. Thus, all nations should make joint efforts to save our world.。
