高中英语教学中语篇的主题与主题意义作者：陈新忠来源：《英语学习·教师版》2018年第11期摘要：《普通高中英语课程标准（2017年版）》倡导六要素整合的、探究语篇主题意义的活动观。

主题是指作者（或说话者）通过文本传递的主要内容；主题意义是指主题呈现的核心思想或深层含义。

教师可以从单元、标题、文体、词语等角度对主题意义进行探究。

关键词：高中英语教学；语篇；主题；主题意义《普通高中英语课程标准（2017年版）》（以下简称“《课标》”）指出高中英语课程内容包含六个要素：主题语境、语篇类型、语言知识、文化知识、语言技能和学习策略。

其中，主题语境涵盖人与自我、人与社会和人与自然。

主题语境不仅规约着语言知识和文化知识的学习范围，还为语言学习提供意义语境，并有机渗透情感、态度和价值观（中华人民共和国教育部，2018）。

目前，越来越多的英语教师关注语篇的主题和主题意义，对主题意义的探究已然成为高中英语教与学的核心任务。

《课标》倡导六要素整合的、探究主题意义的活动观。

基于主题意义探究的课堂教学就是围绕一定的主题，设计课堂教学的目标、内容和活动。

这类课堂教学正在引起一线英语教师的广泛关注（程晓堂，2018）。

关于话语（discourse）和语篇（text）这两个术语，不同的学者有不同的理解。

在许多文献中，这两个术语是通用的（胡壮麟，1998）。

本文中语篇的概念涵盖口语和书面语篇。

现行教材各单元主要以主题（话题）为引领。

教材中不同的语篇为教与学提供了主要内容。

语篇承载着语言知识和文化知识，传递着文化内涵、价值取向和思维方式。

学习这些语篇会帮助学生的英语学科核心素养得到发展。

那什么是主题？什么又是主题意义呢？《课标》指出主题为语言学习提供主题范围和主题语境，但没有对主题进行明确定义。

《课标》还指出英语课程应该把主题意义的探究视为教与学的核心任务。

在以主题意义为引领的课堂上，教师要充分挖掘特定主题所承载的文化信息和发展学生思维品质的关键点。

I should phone her from a telephone booth.”They met Lin Fei around dusk in downtown Chinatown, one of the three in Toronto. Over dinner at a restaurant called The Pink Pearl, the cousins chat ted with Lin Fei, who had moved to Canada many years earlier. “We can get good Cantonese food here,” Lin Fei told them, “because most of the Chinese people here come from South China, especially Hong Kong. It’s too bad you can’t go as far as Ottawa, Canada’s capital. 必修3 Unit5 Canada ----- The True North 教学设计Period 1 Reading一、教材分析本单元通过两位女孩李黛玉与刘茜的加拿大之旅，向我们展示了加拿大的一些基本概况，包括它的地理位置、主要城市、风土人情以及它的多元文化。

通过学习本单元，让学生对加拿大有更多的了解，使学生能够用所学的词汇与句式表达方向与位置，并学会条理地写出旅游过程中的所见所闻。

本单元阅读部分是一篇游记“在旅途中看加拿大”，两位女孩李黛玉与刘茜沿着从西向东的旅游路线向我们介绍了加拿大的面积、地貌、主要城市、人口、生态环境等。

她们在旅途中看到了自然美景及野生动物，文章还介绍了加拿大的自然资源，让学生对加拿大的美丽、富饶、幅员辽阔、地广人稀有更深的了解。

学生可以通过学习课文掌握新的词汇、句型和游记的写法，提高学生的阅读能力。

二、学情分析本班的学生英语基础一般，平时较少阅读游记题材的文章和知识面相对狭窄，大部分学生缺乏世界地理和历史的知识，阅读理解这篇文章还是有一定难度。

但本班学生的好奇心和学习接受能力比较强，可以布置学生课前上网或去图书馆找出一些有关加拿大的资料，并与多媒体相结合简单介绍加拿大的一些知识，让学生有了一定的知识准备以利于很好的理解课文。

三、设计理念及教学目标这节课的主要目的是培养学生跳读和细读的阅读技巧，使学生学会准确分析阅读问题，懂得从文章中找到关键句子摄取必要的信息，找出正确的答案。

我运用多媒体和学生搜索材料主动参与学习相结合，设计了表格、问答题、画路线题和信息整理题。

这不仅提高学生的阅读技巧，也教会学生怎样处理不同的阅读问题。

1)、情感态度：通过了解其他国家了解世界,扩大学生的知识面,培养学生开放的世界观。

(2)、文化意识：了解加拿大的基本概况，包括它的地理位置、主要城市、风土人情以及它的多元文化，使学生对世界文化有更深的理解。

(3)、学习策略：通过自主学习和小组讨论等方式，培养学生自主探究和合作交流等学习策略。
