義守大學華語文中心設置辦法
Regulations for Establishing the Chinese Language Center at I-Shou University

第一條本校爲因應大學國際化趨勢，提供外籍及華裔人士優良學習環境，推動對外華語教學與商業華語實習，促進國際文化交流，並開發華語教學產業的研究，特設置「義守大學華語文中心」(以下簡稱本中心)。

Article 1 To keep up with the trend of internationalization, the Chinese Language Center of I-Shou University (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is hereby set up for providing the excellent learning environment for Chinese or overseas students, promoting the Chinese language teaching & business programs, encouraging the cultural interaction between different countries, and developing the researches on the Chinese language teaching industry.
第二條本中心職掌如下：
Article 2 Duty and responsibility of the Center are shown as below:
一、推動對外華語文教學及文化之傳授與交流。

1. Promoting the Chinese language teaching programs and cultural interaction between different countries.
二、華語文訓練課程之辦理。

2. Handling the related affairs of Chinese language training programs.
三、各類華語文教材之編撰與研發。

3. Editing or planning the Chinese language teaching materials.
四、華語文能力檢測之教學與輔導之推動。

4. Promoting the teaching and counseling activities for the tests of Chinese comprehensive ability.
五、各項華語文遊學與文化研習活動之舉辦。

5. Holding the activities of Chinese study tours and cultural studies.
六、推動國際及兩岸華語師資之交流與合作。

6. Providing more opportunities to the international or cross-strait teachers to interact or cooperate.
七、舉辦對外華語文教學相關議題之學術研討與講座。

7. Holding the academic seminars or course lectures relating to the issues of Chinese language teaching.
八、推動華語文教學之相關研究。

8. Developing the researches of Chinese language teaching.
九、其他華語文相關事宜之辦理。

9. Other related affairs of Chinese language learning and teaching.
第三條本中心為本校一級單位。

Article 3 The Center is the first-level unit of the University.
第四條本中心置主任一人，綜理中心業務，由校長聘請本校副教授以上教師兼任之。

Article 4 The Center is headed by one dean, who shall be in charge of the comprehensive affairs of the Center. The President shall invite one teacher, whose rank is associate professor or above, to take the position of the dean.
第五條本中心將教學及研究需要，設教務、推廣交流二組，各置組長一人，由主任簽請校長核聘之。

各組得依事務編配職員若干人。

Article 5 The Center shall set up two divisions of academic affairs and promotion & interaction, which shall be headed by one director respectively. The dean of the Center shall request the President to hire one person to take the position of division director thru application. Each division may recruit several persons to assist managing the affairs of the Center according to its practical needs.
第六條本中心得依需要置諮詢顧問若干人，由校長聘請校內外專家學者擔任之。

Article 6 The Center may recruit several counselors, who are served by the scholars or experts invited by the President, depending on its practical needs.
第七條本中心得依需要設置相關業務委員會，以推動中心各項事務。

Article 7 The Center may establish other committees to handle the related affairs of the Center according to its needs.
第八條本辦法如有未盡事宜，悉依本校相關法規辦理之。

Article 8 Any affairs not stating in the Regulations shall be pursuant to the related regulations set up by the University.
第九條本辦法經校務會議通過，陳請校長核定公佈後實施，修正時亦同。

Article 9 The Regulations adopted by the University Council shall come into effect after they are approved and promulgated by the President. Amendments must also undergo the same procedures.
Note: In the event of any disputes or misunderstanding as to the interpretation of the language or terms of this Regulations, the Chinese language version shall prevail.。
