2017年，国内外形势变化复杂，我国经济稳中向好，我国政府
在各方面保持了稳健的推进态势，人民生活得到了进一步的改善。

然而，也存在不少全国性、系统性风险挑战，推进改革和实现可
持续发展的任务依然艰巨。

In 2017, the domestic and international situation was complicated, but China's economy remained stable and improving. The government has steadily advanced in various aspects, while people's living standards have been further improved. However, there are still many national and systemic risks and challenges, and the tasks of advancing reform and achieving sustainable development remain daunting.
2018年是脱贫攻坚承前启后、继续实施五位一体总体战略和全面深化改革的关键之年。

我们要坚持稳中求进的工作总基调，加强和改善宏观调控，加强创新驱动，着力优化供给侧结构，推动形成全面开放新格局，推进“一带一路”建设，始终把发展经济作为全局工作的中心环节，壮大实体经济和民生保障，促进全面社会进步。

2018 is a crucial year for China's poverty alleviation campaign and for continuing to implement the Five-in-One overall strategy and comprehensively deepening reform. We must adhere to the general tone of steady progress, strengthen and improve macroeconomic control, strengthen innovation-driven development, focus on optimizing supply-side structure, promote a new pattern of comprehensive opening up, advance the construction of the Belt and Road, and always regard economic development as the central link in the overall work while enhancing the real economy and ensuring people's livelihoods. We will promote all-around social progress.。
