摘要：PURPOSE:To reproduce a position with high accuracy, by providing a metallic strip in which the total length has a specific relation to a wavelength to a rear side of a board for two parallel slits at a right angle in the progressing direction of the slits. CONSTITUTION:The total length of the metallic strips 7 provided at the rear side of the board 1 for the two parallel slits 6a, 6b is designed as a length being nearly 1/2 wavelength. Suppose that a radio wave of an even and an odd mode is propagated from the left. Since the radio wave of the even mode is the TEM wave, the radio wave is propagated right without coupling largely with the metallic strip 7 by narrowing the width of the metallic strip 7. On the other hand, the radio wave of the even mode has a component of magnetic field in the progressing direction, the radio wave of the odd mode is coupled with the metallic strip 7. The metallic strip 7 acts like a band-pass filter by taking the total length of the metallic strip 7 as 1/2 wavelength and opening both ends, allowing to reflect the radio wave of the odd mode.
