I attended a Chinese-style wedding last year, and it was an unforgettable experience. The wedding was held in a traditional Chinese courtyard, and the bride and groom wore traditional Chinese wedding attire. The ceremony began with the bride's family welcoming the groom's family, and then the bride and groom paid respects to their ancestors.
During the ceremony, the couple exchanged vows and rings, and then served tea to their parents as a sign of respect and gratitude. The parents then gave the couple red envelopes filled with money as a wedding gift. The reception was also very different from Western weddings, with a lot of Chinese food, traditional songs and dances, and even a lion dance performance.
I found the whole experience very interesting and meaningful. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the
couple's love and honor their families and traditions.
