English Salon Activity Reflection。

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend an English salon activity, and it was truly an eye-opening experience for me. The salon was organized by a group of English enthusiasts, and it aimed to provide a platform for people to practice their English speaking skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. As someone who is always looking for opportunities to improve my English, I was excited to participate in the event.
The salon took place in a cozy café in the heart of the city. When I arrived, I was greeted by the organizers who were warm and welcoming. They had prepared a variety of activities for the evening, including group discussions, role-playing games, and even a mini-debate. I was impressed by the thought and effort they had put into planning the event.
One of the highlights of the salon was the group discussions. We were divided into small groups and given a topic to discuss. It was amazing to see how everyone was eager to share their thoughts and opinions. I found myself engaged in deep and meaningful conversations with people from different backgrounds. It was a great opportunity for me to practice my speaking skills and learn from others.
Another activity that I particularly enjoyed was the
role-playing game. We were given different scenarios and
had to act them out in English. It was both fun and challenging, as it required us to think on our feet and use the language in a practical context. I could feel my confidence growing as I participated in the game, and I was grateful for the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone.
The mini-debate was also a memorable part of the evening. We were given a controversial topic and had to argue our points of view. It was interesting to see how passionate everyone was about their opinions, and it was a great exercise in persuasive speaking. I was impressed by
the level of fluency and articulacy displayed by the
participants, and it inspired me to work harder on my own speaking skills.
