高惠燕：公益助读将爱传递

fter working for over 30 years, she is affectionately acknowledged as a “life coach” by her students. According to her, an excellent teacher should be endowed with the spirit of self-sacrifice and commitment to the society and become a practitioner of the truth, goodness and beauty. She is Gao Huiyan, who teaches in Shandong Experimental High School and has been elected as one of the
“Sixth Batch of Moral Models in Jinan”.
Over the years, Gao Huiyuan has done a fantastic teaching job, and at the same time has played an active part in the volunteer teaching activities organized by Shandong Provincial Education Department for teachers’ skills training in terms of weak subjects of compulsory education in rural areas. When participating in the volunteer program, she found that the lack of reading in rural education led to various problems. So, Gao Huiyuan found the “Tianya Haijiao Heart-to-Heart Reading Assistance Team” in cooperation with the volunteer teachers and caring people, transferring the power of reading to children in the countryside.
立班级图书角、到农村小学陪伴孩子读书的想法，于2016年，联合3位志愿者教师创立了“天涯海角心连心助读团队”，开始了漫长的公益助读之路。

爱心助读，播撒阅读种子
发起公益助读活动，高惠燕希望以此激发农村孩子的阅读兴趣，养成阅读习惯，提高阅读能力，使其终生受益。

“一开始的困难可想而知，资金、落地、人力，甚至连最基本的交通工具都协调不到。

”困难重重，可高惠燕并未放弃，凭着一腔热情坚持了下来。

在这条爱心助读路上，捐赠图书是第一步。

“天涯海角心连心助读团队”一方面依靠当地教育部门联系最偏远的农村小学，另一方面联系市区志愿者进行图书募捐，将所捐图书
赠到农村学校，帮助学校建立班级图书馆和乡村爱心书屋。

目前助读团队已在商河县郑路镇、平阴县玫瑰镇、济南天桥区大桥街道办事处等建立了28个书屋。

在募捐图书的同时，高惠燕带领的助读团队每隔一周的
周末都会和志愿者一起走进乡村爱心书屋引领孩子们读书，对师生和家长进行义务讲座。

在她和其他团队人员的努力下，先后有数百名志愿者走进书屋引领孩子们读书，并为当地教师、家长培训40余场，累计受益家长和学生达数万人。

如今，当地孩子和家长的精神面貌有了很大提高，师生关系和亲子关系得到改善，学生读书的积极性和表达能力以及生活习惯均得到改善。

更为可喜的是，一批又一批由农村教师、家长和学生组成的志愿者队伍正在形成，他们将在齐鲁大地播撒阅读的种子，点亮孩子们的幸福人生。

爱心助读，将阅读的种子播撒在孩子们心中。
