A Frightening Experience
Good morning,everyone! Today I shall share a frightening but impressive experience in my childhood.
The story happened on a destined Sunday noon in my small hometown.Now,everyone was having noon rest,including the bad-luck family which only left a dog squatting beside the door,quiet and dull.
In front of the loosened fence,a group of naughty children,me included,were planning to steal the bamboo shoots in the small garden of the family.They bended,sneaked in and moved quickly to uproot those tender bamboo shoots,then threw them out,while I was told to wait outside the garden to pick them into my bag.I clearly knew,if our stealing had been caught by the family,the owner would let his bull dog go to bite me.I hided out of the dog’s sight and did my work carefully and secretly.I was so nervous that I could not help shuddering and felt as if the dog had been staring at me with its bloody eyes.
Suddenly,“What are you doing?”A shout broke the silence. “Lay them down.You bad guys…”said the hostess.She ran to me,followed with the violent dog.
Next second,“uh～～boys,go,go,the dog’s coming” I threw our
spoils away and took to my heels without any hesitation. However,the crazy dog ran after me tightly and kept wild barking.
“Don’t follow me!Don’t follow me!Help!Help!”I cried to speed up.Where’s my mom!Where’s my friends!Nobody here!No one could help me! I ran straight, regardless of the thorns and bush,even dared not to turn over.You know,I was born with serious phobia towards dog.Even though my feet had been scared to weak,I just could not stop running.“The bag dog,I hate you!Don’t follow me,please! I’m wrong! I’m wrong! I will no longer do it!Woo～Woo～God!Help me!Help me!”
Finally,I found a tall tree in my way.Immediately I climbed it to the bole,the dog pounced on my place before.How narrowly! What if I had been caught!...I refused to imagine the miserable scene.Having walked arround the tree for a while,the dog lost patience and left.Nevertheless, I didn’t climb down untill the sun set in case the dog returned.
Well,my story ended up with my safely coming back home. I really got frightened and had to appologise for our trick.From this experience in my childhood,I understand we can get something not everything .If we want or need what doesn’t belong to us,we ought to get it in a proper way.Right? That’s all !。
