Step Ⅰ.
1. Listening
T:1)Look at the pictures:
A: What are they doing?
B: Who is coming?
C: What does Qiaoqiao want to eat?
2) Listen. What time is it now?
What day is it today?
2. Studying
1) Learn the new words: turn up / a quarter to twelve /usually /too loud
2) learn the dialogue: It’s already a quarter to twelve.
What do you want for lunch?
We usually eat pizza on Sunday.
3. Work in pairs
1) Read the dialogue in pairs.
Please turn up the volume. Please turn down the volume. It’s already a quarter to... What do you want for lunch? 2)Act out the dialogue .
4. Acting
A: Hi, I can’t hear the TV.
B: OK, I will turn up the volume.
