Once upon a time, I had a friend named Lily. She was a storytelling machine! She always had the most fascinating stories to tell. One day, we were sitting in a café, sipping our coffees, when she started telling me about her latest adventure.
Lily: "You won't believe what happened to me yesterday!
I was walking in the park when I stumbled upon a hidden treasure map. Can you imagine? A real treasure map!"
I was intrigued by her story and couldn't wait to hear more.
Me: "Wow, that sounds incredible! What did you do next?"
Lily: "Well, I couldn't resist the temptation, so I
decided to follow the map and see where it would lead me.
It took me through winding paths and dense forests, but finally, I reached the spot marked on the map. And guess what? I found a chest full of gold coins!"
Me: "No way! That's like finding a needle in a haystack. You must have been thrilled!"
Lily: "Absolutely! I felt like I had hit the jackpot. But you know what they say, 'Easy come, easy go.' I soon realized that the treasure came with a price. As soon as I took one of the coins, the ground started shaking, and a giant boulder started rolling towards me!"
Me: "Oh no! What did you do?"
Lily: "I had to think fast. I remembered a saying my grandmother used to tell me, 'When in doubt, run!' So I sprinted as fast as I could, narrowly escaping the
boulder's path. It was a close call!"
Me: "Phew, that sounds terrifying! But at least you got
away safely. What did you do with the treasure?"
Lily: "Well, I decided to leave it there. It wasn't worth risking my life for. Plus, I didn't want to be greedy.
I believe in the saying, 'A bird in the hand is worth two
in the bush.'"
Me: "That's a wise decision. Sometimes, it's better to let go of material possessions for the sake of our well-being. Your story reminds me of the saying, 'All that
glitters is not gold.'"

”。
